3-GUN at Middle TN Shooters 3-1-15

Middle Tennessee Shooters Club will be hosting its monthly 3 gun match on Sunday March 1st. Registration starts at 11:00 AM and ends promptly at noon. Directions to the range can found at midtnshooters.com
I have 5 fun stages planned.
Stage 1. Pistol/shotgun 19 optional steel targets and 1 shotgun clay.
Stage 2. 20 rifle and 23 pistol
Stage 3. 9 rifle 9 pistol 9 shotgun
Stage 4. 30 rifle
Stage 5. 10 rifle 12 shotgun 1 slug 11 pistol

Is it going to be as cold and snowy/icy as today? I'm in either way, but I'm going to Florida on the 2nd.

Just have to rub it in ;-). If it makes you feel better I'll be sitting in meetings all day...

Can I ask are any of you guys shooting three gun use a true 3 gun modified shotgun? If so what brand are you using and who did you get to do the work? I've been looking at a versa max for myself but unsure to go that route or buy something and have it worked on.

I run a m3000 and love it great shotgun for the money. Hasn't let me down yet.

I use a beretta 1301 21" w a plus 7 nordic tube, taran follower, match saver on the r side. I opened the loading port up myself using a dremel and home shop equipment. Its been good to me, little tricky getting used to but its smooth and accurate for a 12 guage. If I had to do it over Id get, or add the stoeger 3K for sure. The beretta is fast and will run just about anything u put in it except for 7/8 rio shells.....lotsa guys rave over the stoeger. hope this helps.. if u need work on a shotgun, rosen is good in KY, as well a c rums in MO.

Looks like a high of 52 degrees and only a 10% chance of rain for Sunday. Should be good weather for shooting. I'll be at the range at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday for setup if anyone can make it out to help.

ok folks. If your planning to go, go ahead and preregister at the link above. Even if you no show, it's much easier on the stats guy to have you squaded than to put you in a squad the day of. Thanks

Yea...But that's why the stats guy gets paid the big bucks.... It's also better to keep him busy during the walk though and give him less time for gaming the stages.... Lol...:-)
