Randy,
I'd be interested in either if the scheduling was right. I PM'ed you a few weeks ago about the SI one day Shotgun course.
Could you maybe schedule a shotgun 1 dayer in conjunction with a handgun course late summer/early fall with a shotgun 2 dayer later in the fall ?

Good article. Thanks for the link.
And don't think that similar classes aren't slipping by in Tennessee. HCP courses that fall FAR short of the State's minimum requirements.

bump
any update on this ?

the j-frame is by far the friendliest to carry and conceal IWB, but I have the least amount of faith in it.
Why would you not have as much faith in a J ?

Does anyone have experience with Shootrite in AL?
Not personally, but I've heard good things. Do a search here and at www.thehighroad.org and you'll find some positive feedback.

You better keep Jessica Simpson out of the stands!!!!
Yeah, a football stadium is the last place she needs to be.
A gun range would be better. In the capable hands of a qualified instructor.

And, so it begins.............

They also have/had a wrongful death suit over a fatality on a ropes course.

Very respectable showing for the much maligned .380 cartridge. I'm glad to see that, because I believe it's a decent SD round.

I would love to see the race Sunday go green for the entire advertised distance.
I didn't know that had EVER happened.
Anyway, c'mon # 20 car !

Is it possible that you short-stroked the trigger and released the hammer from the pre-cocked position, instead of drawing it back first? I have done that with mine, and it will misfire about half the time if I don't let the trigger fully return forward.
+1
I kept having this problem with my P3AT and I was getting ready to send it back to Cocoa Beach. Somebody told me to make sure I was releasing the trigger all the way. I wasn't. I started, and it's better now.
I bet this is the problem.

I think if you did a change of address form with the Post Office, they will forward all mail.
Depending on when you submitted paperwork, you might can call the TDOS Handgun Permit office and see if they will flag your permit and correct the address before they mail it.

I saw some pictures of some nudes in his glasses

IMHO, its best to let them know up front that your carrying. You dont have to, but it might make the stop more pleasant
I concur, and encourage all of my HCP students to do so.

Great avatar H101 ! that's your senior picture, ain't it ?

If I'm not mistaken from statistical reports the "average" gun fight occurs at 7 yards or less
7-10 FEET

I would submit to you that there are other closer, less expensive, and more reputable training opportunities.
If you have the urge to travel to train, hit Gunsite or Thunder Ranch.

With the .45 it's all about shot placement, with the 9mm it's all about shot placement, with the .38 it's all about shot placement, with the .40 it's all about shot placement, etc. etc. etc.
