Well that's their opinion and I have mine. I have shot the one Oleg Volk has a couple of times, with different optics and both suppressed And not. I am not impressed with it. Same ammo that I use in my 700 and my TAC-20 that gets .30 and .50 MOA is lucky to make 2-3 inch groups at 100 yds. I carry and use guns professionally for a living and am giving an honest opinion based on my experience and training. I do not desire to be a RFB leg humper is all. It serves a niche i am sure, but its not all that.

Accuracy sucks, ergonomics suck, handling is ok. Price too high retail and of course it is made from unobtainium since Kel-Tec can't build a damn thing in quantity.......

We will be at the show mainly selling the books but I will have odds and ends from the gun show days. Magpul mags, leftover Lee Reloading parts, uniforms, ammo cans, etc. Per My Wife: I wanted to spread the word about a huge book sale that will be happening this weekend at the gun show in Franklin. I am helping a colleague sort through her late husband’s massive stash of hardback non-fiction books as well as some fiction. We have already disseminated many of the paperback books (a few thousand). Mike was a Marine for many years and then retired from the Army after 25 years of service. He was a voracious reader and all of his books are related to the following subjects: Civil War World War II Korean War Vietnam (he served in Vietnam so there is a significant portion of books about Vietnam), OEF/OIF Guns, Snipers, Stalking, Swords, Samurais, Martial Arts Middle East and World History Living off the land, gardening, canning, etc. There are many other smaller categories of books. Many of these books are out of print but many of them are also currently in bookstores. Overall, these books are in good to very good condition. I would estimate there are a few thousand hardback books We will ONLY be at this month’s gun show and all remainders will be given back to Mike’s wife for donation to a local veteran's group.

I used to wear 5.11's all the time and found them to be okay standing up, but repeated movements such as squatting, sitting, etc, they tend to feel binding as well as like others have mentioned they fade like a SOB. Based on advice from a friend of mine that is a firearms instructor also, I went to Wal-Mart and picked up their Wrangler Cargo Pants and Cargo Shorts and haven't looked back. 5.11 and others have jacked their prices up, and even though I can get dealer pricing on them, I don't wear their pants or shirts anymore, just the jackets and fleeces. The Wrangler stuff is like $16 a pair for the pants and $12 for the shorts. Cargo pockets are sturdy and secure well, the material holds up well through several schools I went to and have had no problems with them and if you do screw them up they are cheap to replace.

Latest Class III: Guesses on Wait Time

Just had a customer get back two suppressor stamps that went in and came back at the same time. Roughly three months and two weeks. -
Handgun given as gift across state lines?
TNRobocop replied to Patton's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You have your answer in your own statements. The firearm may be loaned to a resident of any state for sporting purposes (i.e. loaning a gun to go hunting with), but since it cannot transfer across state lines without a FFL involved, it is meant for use within the state the firearm owner lives in. Loaning does not circumvent the law about crossing state lines. Common sense. -
Handgun given as gift across state lines?

Congrats for committing a federal law violation if he took it back home with him across state lines. -
I read something last night that Season 2 won't start until Oct 2011.

Gifting a handgun across state line to son?
TNRobocop replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You must send it to a FFL in GA. You can send it yourself to his FFL if he accepts from non-FFL's, or you can have a local FFL send it to his FFL, but there is usually a fee involved. -
No use for the tri-state part. We handle our own, then take over the other areas later....

And if you are on a ship, what do you do about fresh water and fuel when you run out of both? Plus spare parts and knowledge to fix ship systems when they break down?

The interviews with the candidates basically showed that they will not really be introducting any gun related laws anytime soon. They blew their wad and political capital last session and want to concentrate on real issues that affect most of the state such as little things like the economy, budgets, taxes, etc.

Where do folks get artillery ammunition
TNRobocop replied to a topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
This... As long as there is not HE in the projectile, it is not regulated. I was watching a show about the guys in AZ that shoot 37mm anti-tank guns, 75mm tank guns, etc. They said that they manufacture their own rounds from solid brass, lead, etc. They prefer the harder metals since they are shooting into a sand area they can retrieve their rounds for reuse after cleanup. The 40mm GL stuff is just practice rounds that can be reloaded. Some places sell kits for reloading them. HE stuff requires a $200 stamp per ROUND. Not too many people have the money or inclination to do that each time. -

Yeah it would be nice to see a movie where people knew about zombies and how to take care of them before an outbreak happened. Hell they know about vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc, and we all know those aren't real unlike zombies. -
Gun Owners Club is free to post on. I haven't really sold much but have had alot of tire kickers though.

Pretty cool system. I love the capability to use Russian 14.5 and I laughed at the 12.7 capabilty for "low-cost training". Too bad that there are like 30 damn commercials tied to the video.

Awesome products, good people, good shipping times. Best of all didn't raise prices during the Obamanation rush. Of course they got cleaned out because of it and took awhile to build their stock back up but I have dealer status with them and everything I order has been in stock for the last 6 months or so.

It is not your home, nor does it have the same expectation of privacy as a home when you are traveling on public roadways. That is the legal aspect of it. Professionally I like to know who is legally carrying a gun if I approach someone on a traffic stop and there is a gun in the car. You have a permit for carrying, then it is a logical progression that you have it while traveling in a car with a loaded weapon. No difference. Besides for the most part it shows I am dealing with a good guy in the car. I don't recall ever giving a ticket to a permit holder, but I have thrown them off by asking what they are carrying just out of curiousity... In the end though, it is my opinion. Everyone has their own, this is mine.

There have been some changes to search and seizure rules over the last year, but nothing earth shattering. I personally and professionally disagree with the no permit thing for loaded car carry though.

Almost all shows don't allow it.

Nope, didn't get any worse, just didn't like the stain/finish I used plus I want a new stock to go with a new rifle basically.
