TGO david, that bit of info about using the search function, has that been posted before, perhaps in a sticky that i missed? if not it probably should, because there are times that i remember a thread and want to go look at it for some info but i dont remember what section its in but when i search for it i cant find it but i know its there.

i have read that this is not reccommended.(putting a round in the camber manually) can cause premature damage of some sort. it is easier to insert a full mag, chamber a round and then takeout the mag and top it off with one more round

but i highly doubt that you would have stolen it in the first place, since THAT's not the right thing to do. but in the instance of say you found this gun somewhere or heard of it being in a lost-and-found type of storage, yes i believe many people on here would return it to him but i dont think a thief is going to give the gun back to its owner just because he asked for it.

favorite is HERO-GEAR in winchester, amazing invetory, best customer serice you can ask for and they can do just about anything firearms related and if they cant they will tell you the best place to ge it done. and to top it off i heard they are expanding soon, to cover even more bases. least favorite is Executive Protection bureau in tullahoma. extremely low inventory, and they act like you are a nuisance to them to be there unless you are a cop. very poor customer service and severely lacking in the inventory and their prices are higher than anyone around here.

try out a hk usp in .40sw, that was my second gun after a sw sigma 9mm and also had a xd-45 at the same time and the hk had a much smoother action and just felt like it was better made, probably tighter tolerances. ive never shot a sig before so i cant compare to it. also i do remember that it is much smoother than the glocks that i have owned. however its been so long since i shot it that i cant fairly compare it to my xdm-9 but the xdm seems smoother than my xd-45. also my hk was more accurate than any other gun i have owned, save my xd-45, it just fit my hand like a glove.

also i dont really know if i want him to fail. i havent heard him say one thing that i like yet, but i dont want the country to fall to pieces before we get better leadership in there. i really would like to see him replaced though

wow, this really isnt where i intended this thread to go, i actually thought about adding something to the tune of "post up your own anti-obama pics if ya have em" just thought it was funny when i saw it. its actually a tshirt. i will probably buy it and wear it simply because there are so many pro-obama people around here that i want to piss off.

i probably wouldnt do it if i had a flag to fly or a place to fly it. but a simple gesture isnt going to change anything, actions will. im just not one to be active in the political aspect of things, thats why i dont come on here bitchin' cause of the economy(not saying you are) and other problems and everything. honestly i dont believe that there is anything i can do to make it better. i just plan on making as much money as i can, be as prepared as i can be and be as well armed as i can be because this is just the beginning and relatively soon the S will HTF and its inevitable

welcome. i highly doubt anybody will give it back to you. you might could get lucky with the right person and be able to buy it back at current market value but even that is unlikely. i dont think anyone will give up approx. $600+ worth of anything especially now

you could just go with a g18 mag if you go that route. go big or go home!

i too have been active in the past on other boards besides this one, and have visited many others. and sadly those stickies really only let you be able to say hey dumbazz we have a sticky for that! because the sticky doesnt get used as much as they should

no a sigma would not. a sigma is just a glock copy, in a pure sense. it is a pure DAO

im guessing a hot knife is a specialty tool and not a regualr cutting knife at a high temperature i wonder if herogear would be capable of cutting the foam assuming i had the case and a layout of what i wanted

i am trying to find a good, high-quality aluminum handgun case for my XDM-9. what i have come up with is the case by Kalispel at midway http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=142031 and i am assuming that it will have the same foam as this one http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=630838 my question is, will the type of foam that comes in this case be able to be custom cut to fit my gun and accessories in the case. it says the foam is approx. 2" thick which should be enough, i would think, for the gun, etc. to be covered. to clarify what i am wanting, is an aluminum case with solid foam that i can custom cut to fit the gun and extra mags in the configuration that i am wanting. if you have seen the inside of an XDm factory case, that is what i want only with my placement and arrangement. can i cut(or have someone more experienced) the type of foam that is in this case and make it look professional or will i need something else? also if anyone knows where i can get the foam cut at, i would appreciate it, i tried it on a tool case and i cant do it well.
