i also suggest a 22 pistol as a starter but if you have to use this one for CC later on either a 9mm or a .38 would be appropriate. but i doubt she could carry a medium frame revolver and i dont think she should start with a snub nose, so a compact 9mm seems logical. can she operate a slide on an automatic good? whoever said 21 to carry is also correct. 18 to own the pistol but 21 to legally carry. i would think that you would want something smaller than the ruger sr9 for concealed carry with her being as small as you say. like a Glock 26 or a Xd sub9 even the beretta px4 storm sub9

it still has an aluminum frame just a polymer fire control housing, or at least that is what the site says. if joe is correct, and its only an ounce lighter, i predict it wont be a big sell out item, but i wonder what the will recall on it, you know there will be something but what

i highly doubt it, but my dad always used regular solvent and REMoil to clean his. from the research i did the nylon stock is like a synthetic stock, nothing hurts it and it was developed to combat wood stocks rotting. ive been told by older men that remington made the stock because the wooden stocks were rotting on the army rifles in vietnam, but i dont know. anyways its a synthetic stock, only thing that might get hurt is the gloss finish

this is purely for recreation only, that and i really like big bores and a .45acp or 10mm AR just seems really cool. if i need a big bore rifle id use a .458socom ar

and i thought 10mm would be kind of an oddball pistol caliber...

i am looking for something off the shelf, but if i knew where to get the parts im sure i could get my local gunshop (hero-gear) to assemble it for me. .45 is what i really want. i can find a few 9mm uppers and complete rifles, but the other calibers seem to elude me

where would one go to get quality uppers or complete rifles in pistol calibers for the AR-15? in particualrly 9mm, 10mm, .45acp, and .357sig. dont really care for olympic ar's. i know about the bushmaster 9mm carbine and pistol. .45acp is the most intriguing to me but like 10mm also. if you know of any other pistol caliber carbines in these calibers, im all ears too. except for the CX4 storm and mechtech CCU

a .22short would be quiet enough to get away with...

not now. in the summer though they get parasites in them and none are fit to eat safely, but there is no difference in city squirrels and country squirrels. just dont get caught shooting them. (illegal discharge or firearm in city limits)

i had no problems when i had mine, had pmags on a m&p15A and not a glitch one

my personal favorite is the 870 but you cant really go wrong with a 590 either, i just prefer the ergonomics of the 870 better. i would rather have a pump than an auto because you can shoot anything in a pump, some shells dont cycle well in an auto

im saying id like the .308 in an AR-15 platform but alas it wont work because of the length of the cartridge and also the abuse the recoil puts on the frame. also the ar-15 magwell is too small

if they made a .308 AR-15 id be all over that, but they dont only an AR-10
