  1. Thanks guys. I just used an online translator, and that's basically what it says. Yea, I want no part of that. Thanks.
  2. I received this crazy text message today, but have no clue what it says, or who sent it. The phone number was crazy.
  3. I have some parts on my XD that I'd like to get Hard Chromed. Do we have any members that do such a thing?

I always keep a light coat after cleaning. A very light coat. Unlike many lubes, Militec doesn't wear off near as fast. Even after the "wet" part of the lubrication is gone, it's still working due to the fact that it's a dry impregnated lubricant. Check out the info on their website. There's some very good info.
  5. Yea, you'll likely want to go with a different holster. They are cheap. They did slightly improve the design for the XD-M, but still not all that great. As a matter of fact, if you ask me, all the "extras" that come with the XD are trash. This is coming from a real fan of the XD's.
  6. No problem. IMHO, that is the best Gun-Fu movie of all time. I'd like to have a couple of those modified fully automatic Beretta 92FS's.
  7. I know it's not a .40, but they do have an XD45 with an optional manual safety.
  8. Not the Ruger P Series. Other than that, go with the one that fits you the best. Keep us posted.

    militec1

That is just about all I use. Yes, it's a lube, but it also makes cleaning much easier. Militec1 is heat activated, so you should apply it, then fire a handfull of rounds to bring the weapon to operating temps. I usually apply a second and third coat after several rounds. After you complete this process, the militec has become impregnated in the metals, and thus acting as a dry lubricant.
  10. Unlike some of these other guys, I will not check with the "Boss". I am the boss, and I do as I please, when I please. With that being said, I'm going to make every attempt at being at this meet. I have a new AR that needs some breakin' in.
  11. It's Ok--We know you're a truck driver. The expectations are low. Young man McCain.
  12. Here's some of the best 5 minutes and 31 seconds of problem solving known to man. [ame] [/ame]
  13. Your best bet would be to call around. Being in Columbia, I'd start with Guns & Leather and Bellshires Hardware. I'm sure there are others, but they are about the cheapest I've been able to find in this area.
  14. No, that's not mine. It was just a picture I found a while back while surfing the net. I don't know anyone who's used pink, but I know a few guys who've used blue, orange, and yellow DuraCoat for a similar look.
  15. No problem.
  16. 6 months!
  17. I love mine, too. For the money, Cold Steel is hard to beat. Their prices are a bit steep on the website, but as you pointed out, they can be had for a great bargain from other sources.
  18. I'd suggest a Cold Steel. I have the GunsiteII and Recon1. Both have the Tanto blades. Amazing knives. I wouldn't buy from their website. You can find them cheaper.
  19. I've posted this a few times for members who are having difficulty hitting the target where they want to. Those targets are about 1/2 down the page, and look like a pie chart. There are several other printable targets as well. Enjoy. BTW, Good thread Tungy! http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html
  20. Thanks for the input, guys. You know, I spent several hundred over my original budget while building this AR, and never once can I remember being upset over the cost of any given part(s)--Afterall, you gotta pay if you wanna play. Well, that has now changed. I've been searching around for some ladder type rail covers, and I am beyond shocked at how much this stuff is selling for:mad:. Not only that, but what moron decided it would not be a good idea to sell the stuff in a length that's not long enough to cover an entire rail:mad:? You can by it in a few different lengths, but none over about 6 or 6 1/2 inches:mad:. Like that's gonna work great for my rails that are closer to 9 inches:mad:. Yes, I know I can (and will have to) cut some to fit. Obviously they didn't forget to add the uber-tacticool tax to this stuff. Most places are selling this stuff for $10-$13+ for ONE 6 inch strip. That's a rip-off:mad:. You should be able to buy a 10 FOOT strip for that much, or cheaper. And again, what's up with the length limit? Ok, now that I'm done ranting about that, I was able to find and order some SureFire Z70 Rail Ladders at http://www.gandrtactical.com . They have 3 strips for $15. I actually like the looks of these better than some of the other brands. I figured a couple packages should to the trick. OK, I'm all better now. Carry on.
  21. Also, does standard or boattail really matter?
  22. .32 - MSRP $446.25 .380 - MSRP $795.00
  23. I laughed out loud when I read this response to a question about why they don't have sights on the Seecamp pistols. This was taken from their FAQ page.
  24. Now that I'm finished enough to shoot this thing, I have some ammo questions. Casing options...Really matter if I'm not reloading? I don't plan on reloading for s while, and I'm not sure how much I could get for the brass to someone who does reload. Primer options...Really matter? Brands...Just looking for something to plink around with. I noticed that Wolf has some of the cheapest. Any suggestions? I've seen some people selling a lot of American Eagle. Any good?
