1.     I nearly pissed myself at the "tranny".
2. Both stories have been well-documented for a while now. Not a single person has been able to prove either story told by Chris to be even remotely factual. The JV story appears to be another tale told by Chris.
3. Great! That's not what I needed to hear.
4. So far, Enterprise is the cheapest. Budget was a little cheaper, but we'd have to pay for an extra day, making it more expensive in the long run. Plus, we have an Enterprise location right down the street. I may get a cheaper rate if I find a coupon or other discount between now and then.
5. I've never rented a vehicle before, but it looks like we may need to rent a van/full-size SUV for a few days around Thanksgiving. Anyone have any helpful information about getting the best deal?
6. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
7. Chis Kyle also claimed to have shot and killed two guys at a gas station in Texas for trying to steal his truck. Countless people have tried to find proof of this altercation, but no one has ever been able to find a single shred of evidence.
8. For what it's worth, I found this.
9. That's why I asked before asking.
10. Would it be wrong to ask for a picture of the fiancé? Only as a warning to all the single TGOers out there, of course.
11. Is your girlfriend 15 years old?
12. If I was in your situation, I would take the advice already given in this thread. Sadly, you probably won't, and you'll be back to let us know how you wish you would have listened. Best of luck.

14. You have to remove the trigger assembly. Extremely easy. Here's a video. fast forward to the 7:00 mark.
15. As it stands right now, his actions have clearly hurt his cause far more than it has helped. While it sounds like his actions have caused him a great financial hardship, I'm not convinced this will be the last we hear or see of him. This is especially true if he manages to have this case dismissed, or is found not guilty. It doesn't sound like he has much more to lose, so things could get very interesting.  If the case is dismissed, or is found not guilty, I could easily see him pulling a similar stunt, just to prove a point. If he wasn't looking for a pay day before, he certainly will be now that he's broke. If he's not convicted, there is at least a decent chance he will receive that pay day.
16. The case against him is weak. At this point, I believe they are just messing with him for as long as they can.
17. This appear to be live. http://www.ustream.tv/blog/2014/07/18/live-in-gaza-occupiedair/
18. Have you ever considered buying from only private individuals?
19. I know we have several musicians and pickers around here, so I thought I'd share this story. Click the link for pictures.   17 High-End Guitars Stolen From Springfield Home

21. It appears they've stopped streaming. I found one other live stream, but it was horrible quality.
22. I don't believe we'll ever see a time when local FFL's become a thing of the past. Things have a way of weeding out the less competitive shops, so I'm not too concerned when a few of them close. We'll probably see a few more close before it's over, even those owned by some decent people. If there's a market for local FFL's, they will be around. D&T is a good example. They were always pleasant and helpful, but I'm not completely shocked to hear they're closing. When you have two Guns & Leather's within about 15 minutes, Phil at Bellshire, and what seems like another half-dozen or more shops within a short drive, the competition was stiff. Buying online to save only a few bucks isn't generally worth it to many folks, but driving 10-15 minutes down the road certainly is worth it to a lot of people. I was willing to knowingly overpay at D&T for a hard to find pistol, and another time for an optic. But most of the time I found G&L to be quite a bit cheaper on almost everything I was looking for. On top of that, G&L was the more likely to have it in stock. Plus they have ranges. Expecting customers to spend more money with someone because they are nice business owners is like expecting our employers to pay us more because we are nice employees. The system always has a way of working itself out. Some will make it, and some won't. Those who have a business plan that's willing and able to change with the times are far more likely to succeed. The Internet is becoming more important by the day, and far too many don't seem to be willing to utilize it. The fact that we're having this discussion should be enough evidence to prove just how important the Internet has become.
23. Yes. They are on Memorial Blvd in the same shopping center as Belk. It's a bit of a drive for you, so unless you're in the area, I wouldn't make a special trip. Gaslight in Gallatin is a decent shop. It's in the Kroger shopping center, if you didn't already know.
24. Yep. They must know a little something.
