Everyone pushing 'smart gun' technology lives in a fantasy land; they always want to look at things from the happy path. Real life happens and anything I need in a life or death situation needs to be reliable.

I really, really wish the poll had a "I don't trust any national news media" option. I tend to take the "don't trust but research and verify" on any news story.
IMO, all the national news have shifted to trying for emotional responses rather than just presenting facts.

I've been a TFA life member for years. If you have (or had) a TN HCP, they were involved in getting the relevant laws passed. They are definitely a friend of all TN gun owners (pun intended
).

I don't have any specific recommendations for east TN.
When my wife and I moved back to middle TN, we had trouble finding a rental house. Every house we found was either already spoken or had multiple potential tenants.
We ended up having our realtor setup a daily email from MLS on rental properties. We managed to snag a rental house before it hit zillow or realtracs. It probably helped that he was the realtor who sold our home in Nashville and we already talked to about buying once we got back and settled; he did end up selling us our current house in Mt. Juliet. If you know of a good realtor in the area, they may be able to help.

Welcome back to TGO!
We moved away in 2017 too but returned to middle TN in 2021. I never left TGO as it was a piece of sanity in my time away. It's the same crazy place you left; with many of the same crazy inmates.

Great advice from David. I've had great luck dealing with TGO'ers over the years.
I have had a couple of potential deals with new members where things just "felt off" and so we didn't agree to terms. In every one of those cases, they were soon on a permanent vacation from TGO. Trust your instincts!

I filed a claim for the part I didn’t pay cash. To at least reclaim a little bit. Discover has denied my claim and ruled in favor of the merchant. All because they can’t reach the merchant to verify the transaction (uhhh duh, you won’t reach anyone…. They’re bankrupt!). I provided them over 30 pages of documents and receipts but it’s all worthless. They told me to call the police or file with the BBB. Ha! What a joke.
So for those that had success in getting a chargeback and getting your money, which card did you use? I am done with discover and would like to use a company with actual protections.
Sorry to hear this. I think I'd send them the cut-up remains of my Discover card.

I've only seen a few lowlights but MacGyver is right: it is awful. I've seen enough and have no desire to watch any more.
I can't image a trial will go well for any of them. All the prosecutor has to do is show the body cam and helicopter video.

For sale is my Tavor SAR. It is the model with the 16" barrel chambered for 556/223. It comes with a Geissele trigger bow, Gear Head Works ejection port cover, and a sling. One mag and cleaning kit are included just as it came from the factory, in the original box. Very low round count on this one.
If you really want the original trigger bow or ejection port cover, I can search for them. Trust me - the Geissele and Gear Head Works are significant upgrades!

Oh, I don't think the turnovers would have made a difference in the outcome. But they could have kept the game somewhat close without the turnovers. By halftime, TCU's confidence was shot.
Georgia was just the better team.

Turnovers absolutely killed them in the first half. Their defense simply couldn't stop Georgia.

My Dr (before he retired) used to ask what I was carrying so he could appropriately 'adjust' what the scales reported in my records. We spent significant time talking guns and hunting on every office visit.
