  1. The more I think about it, I think I'll pick up the first one I can get my hands on, in any color... as long as it's black. I was pretty curious about the animosity towards bushmaster, I've seen people on numerous forums say they were going to buy one until they found out bushmaster was making them. I dont know about anyone else, but I have never had a bad experience w/ bushmaster...
  2. That sure is pretty, I love the magpul prs on the 556, I think it looks awesome.
  3. Specifically, where do you think Bushmaster will fall short?

    Got a new Toy today.

I've seen some pretty good prices at Academy before, they had a 16" flat top Bushmaster for $875, which was cheaper than I had seen other Bushys for around town. I still prefer to deal w/ local shops though...
  5. I dont know about sprint, but the verison blackberries are pretty good. The software is nice, and the browser even streams video.
  6. FN SCAR-L? Drool... How much are those going to be MSRPing for anywho?
  7. Will YOU be one of the first kids on your block to own one? Do you want one at all? Will you wait to see the reactions of others before making a purchase? I, myself, am pretty excited about this thing, so I wanted to gauge the interest of others. If I havent blown my tax refund money by it's release, I'll probably buy one as soon as I have the chance.
  8. I wonder if that berreta was permenently affixed to that table...
  9. You mean that Bushy w/ all those Magpul goodies? Haha, I like the ACR too, but I've had a thing for bullpups lately. ACR should be +/- 1500? So, thats a pretty good deal for such a full featured rifle, I just hope it makes it to the market before my tax refund magically dissapears...
  10. Personally, if I was going to drop that kind of coin on a 5.56, I would probably get a Microtech STG556, or even better, spend a few more bones and get this: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=96982861
  11. Thats the problem, they dont reveal anything about the product they sell, or how it functions.
  12. Did anyone else look at the other products they had to offer? IR cloak devices? I think these guys are setting records on the bull****-o-meter...
  13. Whew, that things gonna eat your lunch @ $1695+Shipping&FFL Transfer!
  14. ...and the original 552 handguards, please.
  15. Haha, I'm leaning towards MANY Nate.
  16. Oh yeah, didnt it say their device "weighs less than the projectile being fired". Witchcraft I say, Witchcraft.
  17. Havent seen it yet. Got pics?
  18. My personal opinion in the great AR vs. AK debate is... BOTH! I think they both, with their respective strengths and weaknesses, make great SHTF rifles.
  19. Haha, I must have missed that when I was noticing the overall craptastical nature of their site. As far as the weak hand goes, also notice the "strong" hand looks like it has a DEATH grip on that pistol! Factor in that he may also be using an underpowered round in the hand which holds the pistol graced with their technologies...
  20. To those who may have an interest in Saiga: After doing a little searching around the net, I have found information from a few different forums where people have said that the scarcity of their products has been due to decreased production because of factory retooling that will ultimately result in an increase in production by summer time. Hopefully they can catch up on all those orders out there before the next election...
  21. Has anyone else ever seen this? I find what they are pitching to be more than hard to beleive... but hey, maybe I'm wrong. If it actually worked, I would probably throw them $150 to make my 9mm SigPro Have the recoil of a super-soaker... I would think if they had such an effective product, they could probably afford a better webpage. But that's me, and I'm an A-hole... http://www.stealthir.com/no-recoil/index.html Check it out and share your thoughts.
  22. Thanks for the link R1100R, I had never seen that site before, and I promptly sent him an email. Yeah Magiccarpetrides, the 1st time I saw the Saiga Line for sale a few years ago, I think they were right around $200. Looks like the median price is now closer to $300. Wow, I did'nt know the Saiga-12s were drying up so quickly! A quick search @ gunbroker shows what you say is true! Maybe I should prioritize snatching one of those babies up...
  23. Those look pretty nice, but for 575+FFL transfer, +cost of the Tapco & Tromix goodies I so desire, I think the Saiga project might suit me better. Plus, after I do one conversion, depending on how easy it is, I may just have to get myself a Saiga-12 & an SBR tax stamp & another trip to Tromix to buy some more of their goodies.
  24. I had a Norinco MAK that is soley responsible for current philosophy on firearm aquisition: "Buy them. Don't sell or trade them." I like AKs, but I cant see myself spending more on one than an AR because, well, because it's an AK, and the low price/crudeness of the weapon is part of it's appeal to me! So, so far this sounds like the winning combo for me: Saiga AK chambered 7.62X39 +Tapco SAW pistol grip +Tapco Galil forend +Tromix folding stock Sound about right? Anyone had any expierence w/ sight and/or accesory rails for the AK?
  25. So, I've been reading through a few threads, and there seems to be a lot of talk about the current crop of imported AKs being junk. Hmmmm... I'm starting to wish I had never sold my MAK. Anyways, as I am always on the verge of purchasing another firearm, I was wondering which imports to steer clear of. Does anyone have anything to say about quality on the "Saiga" line? They are comparitively cheap, easy enough to convert back to pistol grip formation, and come chambered just about anyway you want one. I personally would be sticking w/ 7.62x39 of course. Thoughts?
