Ok, first off:
THIS IS NOT A GENERIC "WHICH IS BETTER" THREAD!
Ok, so I've got an economic stimulus just burning a hole in my pocket. Currently I carry a SigPro SP2022 9mm, which is admitedly a little bulky, but I like it just fine. However I want something in .40 or .45 now. The first thought was ofcourse another Sig, but as I already have 2, (the SigPro mentioned above, and a P226 9mm), I kind of want something different.
I have never owned a Glock, and generally never cared for them, but I kind of like the G23. I have never shot one, but I handled one briefly and it has good capacity, and seems very concealable. I think it has a more attractive profile than some of the other compact Glocks. I can easily pick one up for $500 or less, so that's also an attractive point for the G23.
However, I have also never owned an HK, which I have admitedly always wanted. I have shot a full sized USP Tactical, which I liked very much. I'm interested in the USP Compact, which I have never seen or handled in person. It's definetly pricier, but it's an HK, what else would I expect?
So, has anyone had any experiences w/ one or both of these firearms? I'm esspecially interested in the form factor of the USP Compact. Is it equal or better than the G23 in the "comfort of concealment" department?
