  1. The Walmart in Humboldt had some 100 round boxes of Federal 45ACP. The price had gone up from 29.95 to 33.95. Not sure how many boxes they had as I was looking for 22LR. They had10 boxesof 100 round 22 LR that moring but only had 1 box left when I got there.  That one box was over $7.00 for plain round nose Remington. They pulled out a box of 223 from under the counter for the guy behind me. Plenty of 40 but no 9MM in stock.
  2. The good news if you own Sturm Ruger Stock (RGR) 47.68 +3.04(6.81%)
  3. I became the proud owner if a SR1911 today. Been waiting for the eagle to land. Today was the day. I called Guns and Ammo in Memphis and their cash price was $669.00 plus tax. I could not drive from Jackson to Memphis for the difference in price and I preferred to buy from my local shop. Funny thing is I have not field stripped a 1911 since back in the seventies when I was in the service. I launched parts all over my study after I got home and spent the next 30 minutes hunting parts. LOL Thought I would never forget...... Can't hardly wait to get to the range and run a few through.
  4. Will this work with synthetic oil or it is only designed for dino? How many rounds before you have to change the filter? Can't help but think how neat a chrome harley filter would look on that pistol.
  5. I cut across to the Lowe's in Milan occasionally when I don't want to fight the Jackson traffic. I'll look you up next time.
  6. Welcome to Jackson, I live in dowtown Three way.
  7. The Russian way did not work out too well in Afghanistan.....they got their butts handed to them.
  8. Looks like fun. What are you shooting?

    M&P 15-22?

I would research online to see if they made a flash hider that was not threaded. I thinking the hider would have to be threaded.
  10. I believethe Bitone is more than $519.00. The all blue was $549.00 when I bought mine.

    M&P 15-22?

I have one and really enjoy burning up the cheap 22 rimfire. I have shot the federal bulk packs and the target rounds. I have had a couple of jams but nothing major with 1000 rounds through it. I would have liked to have found one for that price. I gave $425.00 plus tax for mine a month or so ago.
  12. I carried one of those deputy cards for years. Back in those days you had to be bonded and sworn in just like any other deputy and you had the same arrest powers as anyone else. Now days I do not think you have much authority unless you are POST certified.
  13. I wish I had the range, the time and the ammo to burn like Hickok45. I like his reviews.
  14. Only negative I can see is that it is a moving part. I never notice that it is there when shooting and I can see no effect on the accuracy. Wasn't a factor when I bought my XD45 compact or XDS.

I think I will get better with a couple of more trips to the range. I might pick up some snap caps and try some dry fires. Mostly Ifell like I was aiming too much at 6 oclock and I need to focus more dead on with the sights. I really like the carry of this weapon. It conceals real well and is light enough to make carrying a breeze. I have a lot of confidence in this weapon already.

I took my XDS to the the range for the first time today. I ran 100 rounds through with no problems. I noticed my hand was little sore from the rough grip but I may have been gripping it too tight. I was dead on at 5 yards and was a little low at 15 yards.Over all I like the gun. I may have to put something on the grip or get some calouses on my hands. LOL I was shooting 230 grain Federal ammo and then shot 10 rounds of Winchester 230 JHP. I may be pulling down because of recoil, I am not sure.I have a XD45 compact that I have been shooting.
  17. I purchased one at the gun show in Jackson this past Saturday. Iam trying to familiarize myself with it before I go to shoot.I had been looking online at them for sometime. First time I had handled one was at the show. I struggled with which model to buy. The higher priced model had a better stock, flip up sites, sling mount and I later found out a match grade barrel. I opted for the 811033 which is the next model down.
  18. So, I can go out of state and buy a shotgun from a dealer but not an individual?
  19. Welcome from Downtown Three Way....
  20. I have one of those Charter Arms 38 Undercovers that I bought new 20 something years ago. Nice little revolver.
  21. I rode over this afternoon to attend the show. I was surprised that it was as much there as it was. I had never been to the Dyersburg show before. Seemed very slow compared to the Jackson show. It was a great day to take a ride on the scoot and graze the show. I was hoping for a bargain on some ammo but it was not to be. My buddy bought a S&W 22 revolver 34-1 for a good price.
  22. Welcome from downtown Three Way.
  23. Wonder how many greens in regulation I could hit with that rig....LOL
