  1. Anyone here other than me shooting this match tomorrow?
  2. I have never shot a 3 gun. If I can get the equipment together i may have to come out and give it a try
  3. I shot a Glock 34 in IDPA for about 3 years and only had a couple of issues out of the thousands and thousands of rounds put through it. That being said, I won't be shooting anything other than a 1911 for a long time. Just a much better trigger more accurate. plus much better looking. Glocks are great though you will never go wrong with one
  4. I have seen grown women using 22s in idpa there, I am sure if you called the match director he wouldn't have any issue letting her use a 22
  5. Oak Ridge Sportsman Association has young kids out shooting every IDPA match we shoot. as long as she is safe they seem very kid friendly
  6. Yes please let me know when you are going to be back in mid tn area. I'm sure I could get a large order together.
  7. ^^^^^^^^ leave it to a welder
  8. Thanks Dolomite I'll order a few later. Appreciate the info.
  9. 16lb govt
  10. Daves Pawn Shop in cookeville usually always has gen4 stuff
  11. Anyone know of a local gun shop that carries 1911 recoil springs? Sick of ordering from midway the shipping costs more than the spring.
  12. I have never had the chance to shoot the Ruger or Remington, although the Ruger would be my pick of the two. If I was going to buy another 45 it would either be another Kimber stainless target II, that's what I carry and shoot IDPA with, or the cheaper route would be a STI Spartan
  13. Awesome man, and the fact that's a Springfield Range Officer is even better. My personal opinion is that's the best 1911 out there for the price.
  14. Had an original Ultra CDP that I carried for a couple of hears and absolutely loved it. Only difference between CDP and CDPII I believe is one is 70 series and the other is 80 series. Fantastic accurate guns. I will buy another one day.
  15. Great match yesterday guys, i had a horrible day shooting but that's always better than a good day anywhere else lol. It was a lot of fun though. And Rickey, Ithink all things considered you chewed pretty well lol
  16. Looked at the stages, it looks like a blast, is the entry 15 like the idpa matches?
  17. I know I usually hit the IDPA match at ORSA every month. The only gun I will allow myself to touch anymore is my Kimber 45. So i am limited to 8rds only, is there a calss for this in USPSA. Sorry for the dumb question, but I know nothing about the way things work in that sport
  18. I hate the Classifier. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it lol
  19. I have shot IDPA for several years now and have always wanted to try a USPSA match.
  20. Wow 51pts down and somehow I still did alright. Need to focus on that front sight a little closer lol.
  21. loved the match, just wish I knew how to aim as fast as I pull the trigger lol
  22. I like that name Rickey. Where oh where did you ever come up with that lol
  23. I recently switched from titegroup to clays on my 45 loads. I also use a lubasizer. To me clays still smokes a little but its much less and a thinner smoke than with titegroup
