Thats my favorite part of IDPA is when I get to shoot with new shooters. A couple of weeks ago at ORSA I had 2 new shooters in my squad, one that I knew and one I didnt. I stayed with them and explained the stages, how it would be best for them, and safest, for them to shoot it, and I ran the timer while they shot so I could walk them through if need be. Thats truly a joy for me, seeing more people get involved with shooting sports. I dont know how much help I could be to someone after their first couple of matches though lol

Great match guys, and a very good turnout. That was 5 good stages that helped me see where I need to improve for the AL State match next Saturday. Gotta slow down a little on those hardcover targets LOL

THAT WAS THE GREATEST THING I HAVE SAW IN A LONG LONG TIME LOL. Man I wish I squadded with you guys now LOL

The next couple of months are gonna be great. AL State, The Masters, The Southern Regionals, The Secret City Challenge, and the VA State Championship. Doesnt get any better

    Al how many people are coming with you? I know they are wanting to max squads out at 11 (anyone who has shot that match in the past knows thats a joke lol) We have by my count 9 in our squad already but we would love to shoot with ya.

I think they do a great job getting the scores out as quickly as they do. its honestly not a big deal to me. at least they are accurate as far as time goes. Well mine is accurate, thats all I can guarantee.

91 or 93, with several new shooters and some junior shooters too. I love going out and seeing kids and new shooters getting into this sport. ORSA is one of the best clubs around for making a new guy feel welcome.

Im debating between Kimber or STI. Decisions decisions lol
