  1. As I had said in another thread... It was a pleasure to visit and tour the JD at Lynchburg. We went on a group ride from my hospital, Chatty - Lynchburg and back. Fun time! The aroma when they cracked open the vats got me hooked. I was and am a single malt guy, but the tradition and history, along with the unique taste certainly calls. To those who have not, the JD tour is a must if you are in the area.
  2. I think I have it now, lets give it a try: My BMW 2007 K1200S

  4. we arranged a motorcycle ride from work last summer for all our employees on 2 wheels for a Saturday ride and went to lynchburg to visit and tour the JD distillery. Great ride and what a tour. Had no idea about sourmash and bourbon. I liked the smell of the double charcoal filtered single barrel or Gentleman Jacks that they let us "inhale" the fumes from by crackin open the cask. Could not get enough! Bought some collectors bottles from the gift store too. Could only carry back so much on my K1200S. Lucky I had the side bags on. Have since enjoyed some Gentleman Jacks and the single barrel. Worth a trip if you have not done it. Informative and you will learn something. At least to drink something new.
  5. At least theay ought to leave out sensitive info like the DOB
  6. TS, it was a pleasure to meet you. Wish I could have been there earlier. It was such a glorious day for flying, so took my daughter flyin. We had a great time and she flew the plane for about 45 min. She is 11 yrs old. Cant beat that. Well, I had only about a 100 rounds on the 7.62 and that went fast. For a test on a new weapon that was good. She shot well (the AK) although I had to "blow" off the smoke from overzealous cleaning and CLP. Appreciate the time and your patience talking with me. Do you work in the ER? or with a Trauma team?
  7. Gutterboy, do you fly? Where do you keep your plane?
  8. I was late to get there, but I did and did not get to meet with any of you save one who said he was from the forums. Got there around 4:30. Fired my new AK and put about a 100 rounds through it. Fun! Also had my kimber and enjoyed the pistol range. Next time will have to try and make on time.
  9. I might be able to come today. Will bring my brand spankin new AK which needs to be fired (only have one mag and about 80 rounds) and my 1911 Kimber. Will meet up at the park. How am I to identify all of you? Since I am new.
  10. How long does LMT take to ship suppose one orders it today? I have been waiting for 2 CMMG complete uppers for more than a month now.
  11. Got back around 4 back to Chatt. Nice crowd, very few vendors with any parts, absolutely no ammo worth mentioning. Few ARs available but no top tiers. Lot of knives and the everpresent taser stall. Bought myself some 45 ACP rounds and a UTG grip for the AR. No, Magpul mags were unavailable.
  12. Hi everybody, have been lurking here, but thought I will participate. Am from Chattanooga and would like to meet up with members in the area.
  13. I went there, paid a 6 $ entrance. There was NOTHING! Only one table with some recent guns. Was out of there in 3 minutes. Really.
  14. Hi guys, I am relatively new to Chattanooga. Would like to join a rifle club to shoot skeet, my AR, 45, etc. Which would be ideal? I know about PC and the CRC. I think Cleveland would be a drive for me given the time available for such activities. Also would like to meet with all of you from Chatt and be part of it. Is there anyone who will sponser me? You can email/ IM me for my details. Thanks. mani
  15. New here and wanted to say hello. Actually was trying to find a pistol range in chattanooga and stumbled upon TGO.
