Is it legal to carry a handgun or long gun in the Cherokee National Forest? If not what law determines this. Where I see a conflict is the Cherokee in Forest Service Land but it is also a Tennessee WMA. In states out west carrying in the National forest is perfectly legal and of course they are all hunting units. My question is doess Federal law or state law apply and if so what laws? Thanks for anyones help who can sort this out. Let me add I have a HCP so is it also different for a HCP holder than everyone else?

Saw today that all ammo produced in Mexico /Remingtom UMC,Augila and another brand made there will not be imported for at leat 90 days or more due to them making ammo for Mexican military contracts. It was on an ammo sellers website. Anybody else sen or heard this. I have noticed all Augila is about out of stock or is out of stock everywhere.

I have a policy.If they ban guns I eat somewhere else.There are lots of gun friendly places and I for one am going to support them.I have a HCP and sometimes I do and sometimes I do not but that does not change my attitude toward firearm friendly business.i support them as much as possible.

And the wheels of politics continue to turn as usual.

Always remember one important issue.Do not post anythingyou do not want shown in court.
