I met a woman the other day who handles pro bono cases for people without means. Her client is forty something works for a little above minimum wage and has no insurance. This lady has cancer and the only way for her to get treated was to lie and claim to be an illegal. At this point she recieved treatment and her meds for nothing. This is the greatest nation in the world unless your born here. I love my country and my younger years were spent reading every history book or biography i could find. At stones river, I had just unpacked and was loading magazines on the bench for my daughter. RSO knows me and has seen me with several ak varients at the range. He comes over and asks will i help the guy two bays down as he' hitting wood darn near every shot. So i go down and theres a fiftyish year old guy with a chinese ak. Hes got the front sight flipped up like an a peep on a quigley rifle is damn near shooting straight up. Another honorable mention cause i didnt see it but it is on film. Guy is shooting downstairs at greenbriar and hits a bad primer. dip wad actually starts to look down the pipe when the round pops going through the ceiling and busting a water pipe. Guy then moves his gear too avoid pouring water and when confronted denys it. when shown the tape however he fesses up.

I bought mine several years back for about 250.00 saw a few at the show in the 300.00 to 350.00 range. easy to load not bad on recoil with defense loads even. 38's feel like a .22. thats my 2 cents anyways daddy loves his ruger.

seems like there is one that was made in texas. It had a drum mag on top like a lewis gun and from time to time i see them on gunbroker. they are tranferable if i recall rightly and have a great reputation. usually priced under 5000.00 too. any body remember the model and maker seems like amd or something.

My 14 year old daughter has been shooting with dear old dad since she was 10. Shes getting into it and just recently, with my help, sold her mosin 44 and bought a 56 sks. the mosin was a present from me and while she loved the old warhorse wanted something a little more accurate. Is there a program for young shooters in the state closer than oak ridge for her age group?

Boycott Useltons, but for the ruger go to the reloaders bench in mt juliet, saw one there the other day. Not the cheapest but fair. Greenbriar didnt have one as of last weekend.
