  1. I have a M&P .40 compact and I love it. Perfect size for carry. I've never had a single problem from it. I just got a sig p239 and its gonna make a good carry gun to. I got it used for alittle over 600 otd.
  2. I have one of the mavericks and it shoots fine. I haven't put many rounds through it but it serves its purpose.
  3. I know everything close to bristol is booked....thats why I was asking about knoxville. I'm not looking to spend much over a 100 bucks. Its just for one night and we won't be there long.
  4. I don't feel the need to. We live out in the country and nothing really ever happens here. Its a pretty good area.
  5. I've found a good deal on some tickets to the bristol nascar race for this month and was wondering if anybody could recommend a cheap and clean hotel in the knoxville area. I'm sure everything in the Bristol area is booked up. I just need it for march 15....sat. night. Let me know if you know of anything with rooms available.
  6. I got the 9mm. I shot it today and it shoots great. I think I made the right decision. My other option was a kimber pro carry II but I wasn't to sure about the single action only. I'm happy with it so far. I've got to go break it down and clean it now.
  7. I'm sorry I lied above.......I bought a p239 not a p229. All these numbers are confusing....lol
  8. I ended up getting a used p239 for $613 OTD. It doesn't show any wear at all. I think I got a good deal. The p226 was way to big for my hands. I haven't shot the p239 yet but I think I'm gonna like it. Thanks for the help in making my decision.
  9. I saw that last night. I think I want to get a new p226 or maybe the p229. I'm gonna go by the gun shop in alittle while and see if they have anything in stock.
  10. I'm gonna pick up one of the ruger .22's later this year. My brother has one and its fun and cheap to shoot.
  11. I probably won't be carrying it but that may change. I'll take a look at the p229. What is the going rate on a new p226 and p229?
  12. I think I've made up my mind what my next gun is gonna be. I've been researching the sig p226 and I like what I'm seeing so far. I haven't been able to fondle one in person yet but I do like the look of it. What is everybodys opinion on sigs. Any problems with them? Anything to look for?
  13. only thing I'd change is put the "WTB" forum below the for sale forums. Just seems better to me.
  14. Is this show any good? I've been to the one in Jackson thats put on by the same company....rkshows.
  15. LOL....thats cool!!
  16. Last I heard it was still stuck in one of the house committees. That's probably where it will die.
  17. This maybe a stupid question but.....how do you go about casting your own bullets?
  18. I bought 500 rounds. I'll report back when I get it.
  19. It's listed on thier site as on sale with regular price being $109.99. I think I'm gonna order 500 rounds and try it out.
  20. I had a sigma 40ve that I just sold my brother. It's a good gun for the price. I didn't mind the trigger. I put 400-500 rounds through it and never had a problem.
  21. 12 bucks to me. Its a good deal but how good is the ammo?
  22. http://www.centerfiresystems.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=161 79.99 for 500 rounds
  23. I found a good price on this and was wondering if anybody had used it.
