  1. Welcome from hornsby.....just south of jackson
  2. I was checking out a sale paper today and it said that The Great Outdoor store now has an indoor range. I haven't been but it could benefit some of the people in this area.
  3. I registered for the first time friday. I've never voted in my 30 years but this election is gonna affect me way more than ever before.
  4. I think it was 75 when I went. It's a very good class.
  5. http://forums.gospeedway.com/default.asp?C=2&SID=896d17b8z2e2b6a72ez9b75eac92a4ad All the info you'll need is on that site. Great messageboard for nascar racing. We went to bristol in the spring and I would love to go to the night race but tickets are hard to get. We found out alot of good info using the site above. I would recommend renting a scanner cause without it you won't know what is going on.
  6. I'm looking at a p229 and I'm wondering if there is a way to tell how old it is by the serial number. Is there somewhere online to look it up? How much would a p229 .40 s&w in good shape be worth?
  7. Shane laney does a good class in Jackson. I can get you his number if you want it. He is a swat team member of the Jackson police department.
  8. those sales are always posted on the twra website. They are having sales all over tn in the next few weeks.
  9. It's supposed to be the light weight model. It doesn't say it on the gun anywhere though. That's kinda around the price I was thinking.
  10. I have a like new ruger m77 mark II .270 with the SS barrel and synthetic(sp?) stock. It has a tasco scope mounted on it. It's an older model with the indented stock. I think its about 8 years old but still looks new. It's had maybe 50 rounds through it. Probably less than that. I'm just wondering what it might be worth. I know this is the wrong time of the year to sell a deer rifle though.
  11. I've always bought from walmart and I've never had a single problem and I've used several different guns. I don't know where you are getting your information.
  12. what does it mean when she said they are gonna "roll" it?
  13. I checked midway and they are backordered. Anywhere else?
  14. I'm buying a ruger mark II and was wondering where is the best place to get mags? Do I need to get factory mags or are there some good aftermarket ones?
  15. +1 for parkway guns. I've bought a few guns from them and they have always been very helpful.
  16. I can't watch these anti-gun fools anymore. We'll never get anything passed through this committee
  17. we saw a wreck on I-81 south about 6 miles south of the track. Looked like a box truck rearended a toyota truck. That had us backed up for over an hour. We made it to the interstate in about 30 minutes. We thought we had it made till we ran up on that.
  18. why does everybody consider all nascar fans rednecks? I was at bristol and there were alot of rednecks there but not all people that enjoy it are rednecks. Lay off the stereotypes people.
  19. Me and the wife will be there sunday too. I can't wait. We are about to leave out for pigeon forge in the next few minutes......right in the middle of all this rain..
  20. I'm coming into knoxville on the way to bristol and thought about stopping and checking it out. Do you have some directions to the lenoir city armory? I don't know much about the area. Whats the cost of admission?
  21. If the sig 229 was to big for your hand you should try the 239. It has a single stack mag and feels just about right in my hand. It and the m&p compact fit me just about right.
