  1. Let me know when you get old.
  2. Memphis has a killer running community. Check out the Memphis Runners Track Club at Memphis Runners Track Club. There are races every weekend. Let me know if I can help.
  3. Looks good. I am thinking of having my Sig P220 Cerakoted.
  4. Keep us up to date on your progress and when you plan to do your first half. I will come run it with you (if I can get my damn Achilles to heal). You might try creating your own blog to chart your progress. I have some friends that did and it was fun and inspirational to tag along.
  5. Yea bad choice. Maybe Brad and Jolie.
  6. 200gn LSWC over 4.8gn of WST.
  7. LMAO. I have been married 13 and am in arguably the best shape of my life. My wife is also a runner/physically active. We aren't Maria and Arnold but we have come to realize that if we want to stay happy together we have to take care of ourselves. My inlaws are in their 80's and still physically active. There quality of living is that of most 50/60 year olds. I decided early on I want to grow old fit and healthy. Just keep at it. And as has been said go slow. You didn't get to your current position overnight and you aren't going to change it overnight either. Just keep going. YouTube - My 120 pound journey. I really like this video.
  8. There is a killler house for sale near me. It is on 5 acres with access to a lake. Just a couple of miles from the Shelby Forest. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=St+paul+rd+millington+tn&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x87d5878aefebd72f:0x53e3da6dfff2901f,St+Paul+Rd,+Millington,+TN+38053&gl=us&ei=_CvPTaPpF5KWtwetz-TzDQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CBcQ8gEwAA
  9. Range USA, Memphis Shooting Sports Association. Can't comment on churches but there are a lot of them. And there are also a lot of BBQ places. Memphis can be an interesting place. Sometimes I love it. Sometimes I hate it.
  10. OUTSTANDING!!! Work your way up slowly. Don't increase your mileage more than 10% a week. The goal is to not get injured. You can easily make the Half and it will be something you never forget. I am on he couch recovering from a treatment to my Achilles (overuse injury). I haven't been able to run since March and I really miss it. I had planned to run a 50mile ultra on my 50th but I may have to put it off for a year.
  11. Where did you have the actions tuned? I just picked up a used P220. I put on some slim grips and I really like this pistol. It is my first Sig. Hopefully not my last.
  12. MTAC or Milt Sparks summer special.
  13. I can quit anytime I want.........Right after I get.......
  14. Welcome. Now you need to get a second job.
  15. It might not be the "reused" but the mixed brass that created the issue. Some folks get very anal about sorting brass. I have never really checked with my 45 loads. Without a chronograph to check your strings it is hard to tell what is happening.
  16. I would say yes. With a good hard cast bullet and Ruger only load you could probably shoot end to end on most any deer in the state.
  17. This might be heresy but I have a Taurus PT145 pro that is a really nice little 45. It is accurate, reliable, concealable and has 10+1 rounds.
  18. I can't speak to the Valor but I have a CBOB and it is my pride and joy. COTEP
  19. When I was young I wanted to "modify", "soup up", "pimp" everything in sight. Now I love to see an original. My how things have changed.
  20. Agreed. There are certain things I feel strongly about that should never be mixed, both involve alcohol, Guns and Cars. Nothing good ever comes from the mixing of these.
  21. DX is the bomb. Love mine. Hacked it changed the ROM and got ride of the bloat ware. Perfect. Welcome to the dark side.
  22. I have a friend in CA. He is shooting ground squirrels @ 200+ yards with 55gn Amax's. He states the results are amazing. I have shot deer with mine using a Nosler 60gn partition. Does the job.
  23. I know what it means. I just think that the people that are saying it, have no idea what it would feel like to actually be responsible for injuring another human being. Especially over something as silly as has been described.
