  1. I think we sometimes forget where we (humans) reside on the food chain.
  2. Don't know what the prices are like now. As far as how good they are? In decent shape they are an excellent rifle. The 8mm would make an excellent deer rifle. Make sure the bolt and receiver have matching serial #'s.
  3. I tried the "LeverEvolution" Bullets in my 35 Rem. In the end I bought a butt load of Core Lokt's.
  4. Collectible, I don't know too much about. But there are lots of fun lever guns out there. The Henry 22 is affordable and high on my list of fun 22's. If you want more punch the Marlin 1894 in 357 is hard to beat. Some of the Model 92 clones in pistol calibers are a hoot. Pick your poison.
  5. On a personal note. Stay far away from any of the LSI 44 mag, 92 clones.
  6. Are those the boot grips? How do they shoot?
  7. Bad link. I thought the same thing. As soon as a perp makes entry into a "dwelling" then it is on.
  8. I have two of the Rossi 92 clones, one in 45lc and the other 44mag. The 92 action is as strong as it gets, and with a little work can be made as slick as as well you know. Check out Rossi 92 Specialist, Nate Kiowa Jones a.k.a. Steve Young - Professional Gunsmith and the Lever gun site Paco Kelly's Leverguns.com • Index page. Having said all that I do have a 1894 in 357 and it won't be going anywhere.
  9. I recently purchased my first sig; a used P220. I have only put a couple of hundred rounds through it, but so far I really like it. It is accurate and reliable. I changed the original grips for a set of slim grips. IMHO the trigger is no where near as nice as my 1911's. But it is still good. It is also a bit large for CC in the summer. I will be looking at other Sig's in the future.
  10. One of the problems with these wackadoodles is they are all lawyers and they are begging for a reason to sue. I am truly amazed that someone or group of someone's has not offed them.
  11. Oh the Horror. When I was stationed in San Diego no one but Boxer could get a permit.
  12. I just ordered one for my sp101. My wife has a hard time finding a good way to carry, therefore she doesn't carry as often as I would like her to. I hope this is the answer.
  13. Associating Kevorkian with Mengele is one hell of a stretch. I tend to believe we ought to be able to choose a dignified end to our existence.
  14. They are mostly right about that. I admit to being a big grouchy baby when I get a boo boo, much less really hurting myself.
  15. That is exactly what I want to do with my 220.
  16. MTAC also. I just wish they still made the old bodies.
  17. My little Miata is quite the sleeper. I have an MP62 supercharger with inter-cooler running 13lbs of boost. It has surprised a few Mustangs. I haven't been to the Dragon in a few years. Last time I was there, there were just too many police. I found there are better runs in the area.
  18. I have my fingers crossed. Looks like the line has a bead on my area. Good thing the wife is out of town.
  19. Lots of money + expensive lawyer + celebrity = slap on the wrist. Now if it was you or me, jail time.
  20. It has been a year or so. Just too much going on, hope to get back to it next season.
  21. I saw a report that said eating possums on the half shell can give you leprosy.
  22. You guys must have started something. My niece emailed me today to tell me she ran 3 miles yesterday. Not what I expected.
