  1. I have leveritius in a bad way. Marlin 1895 ss 45-70, Marlin 336cs 35rem, Interarms M92 45lc, Puma M92 44mag. Too much fun.
  2. I quit 10 years ago. Best thing I ever did for my health. Many chronic respiratory problems cleared up almost immediately. I have to admit there have been times that I could have licked the bottom of an ashtray but for the most part the farther away I get the the less I think about it. Hang in there it gets better and better. Just think of all the money you guys are saving.
  3. I believe that would be an unintentional revealing of your weapon. And If I remember correct it is not illegal. But you don't want to bring that kind of scrutiny to yourself. Especially on the Beach. Lots of stupid people could cause you problems. In SC you can have you weapon in your glove box or console loaded whether or not you have a permit.
  4. What is the course of fire for the HCP course. My wife has to take the course and I am thinking of taking it, so she won't have to do it alone. If the TN course is anything like the SC course I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but maybe someone who had never seen or touched a firearm. The SC course was a slow painful 8hrs.
  5. Thanks, now I have to learn a whole new Govt.

    ruger lcp

I just read the article on the lcp in this months Rifleman. Is is just me or does this seem like a blatant copy of a Keltec? I like Ruger have owned several, but when I read this article. I just kept thinking, this is a Keltec, couldn't Ruger do a little better at differentiating itself?
  7. Thanks for you replies. I first thing on my list after closing on my house and moving in is to head for the DMV to get my DL and CWP.
  8. So I don't have to retake the course but it will take a while to get the prints shipped. If I read the site correctly I have 6 months in which to get a permit. So I am assuming that my sc permit will still be valid during the time that I am waiting. But as I said there were some really bright people answering the phone up there in Gov land.
  9. I am moving to TN in the near future. I currently live in SC and have a permit. According to the TN.gov site: If a person with a handgun permit from another state decides to become a resident of Tennessee, such person must obtain a Tennessee handgun permit within six (6) months of establishing residency in Tennessee. Such person will be processed as a renewal applicant if the eligibility requirements of the other state are substantially similar to the eligibility requirements of Tennessee. View application requirements by state for persons holding a Handgun Carry Permit from another state and applying for a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit. As I read the above I should be able to just apply as a renewal. Has anyone actually done this? I called the contact # and they didn't know took my # and said they would call me back. I am holding my breath.
