My 45-70 with 350gr @ 2000fps. Not fun, but very effective.

Busted. Hot Columbian Hookers.

They call them Crack Pac's. CG LE Detachments (LEDET) are onboard Navy vessels to perform LE functions, as the Navy does not have LE authority to perform LE roles. We (CG) use Navy Assets to do Drug Interdiction. We have been doing it for many years. What you might not realize is how often ships are boarded by the CG outside US waters. Many wild and crazy things happen out there, but if I told you I would have to kill you.
-
Doesn't matter. They can board anything they want, from dingy to freighter. As long as it is in US navigable waters. They don't need a reason.
-
Anytime anywhere in US waters. They used to call us the Sea Nazi's in Key West.

So was I. But I wanted to be diplomatic.

As has been said. Be careful about who sees the costume. My wife is a Navy MP and she has had more than one internet related personnel problem. People just don't seem to understand how fast something can come full circle on the web. Usually it has picked up quite a bit of momentum. You Tube, My Space and Face Book can be a career killer.

+1 on the RCBS Rock Chucker. I started with the RCBS Master Kit 15 or so years ago. Still have it. Also have a Dillion 550. A friend bought a Lee press. IMPO it is a POS compared to the RCBS. I also agree that you will need a few extras, tumbler, good caliper, trickler. I also recommend a hand primer. Save your ducets and get the good stuff, or you may end up buying twice.

Ok I have been reading this thread and you guys have me interested in the XD. I primarily want it as a carry gun preferably in 45 (I already reload for 45). I am not a big person 5'9" @ 160. I currently carry either of three guns G19, Taurus Titanium 38 or a Keltec P32. The Glock will be going to the wife. Recommendations?

I have been asking around trying to find the owners. Rumor has it they belong to someone who just lets them run. Hopefully I can have a talk with the owner. I just moved here and really don't want to make enemies. Having said that if I feel justified I will shoot, Shovel and Shut.

I live out in the Shelby Forest. I am on 13 acres. I have 3 dogs that are collared and kept on leash or in house or dog pen. Today I came out side because my 2 lab pups were barking. I found three dogs only one of which had a collar attempting to enter my dog pen. I popped off a round from my glock (not aimed at the dogs) they left in a hurry. I have not seen these dogs before. I don't really want to shoot someones dog, but I have had problems with dogs gathering into packs, when I was in SC. And I am not about to have my pups or my wife attacked. Anyone know what the legalities are?

I don't see why this is a surprise. CP looked like an idiot after the all was said and done with the IRAQ war. I personally feel that the Bush administration hung CP out to dry. I don't blame him a bit. And I don't think it is a BLACK thing. CP is an honorable man and I respect his decision. Even if I don't agree with it.

To show the Opossum it could be done.

I agree it doesn't make sense. It was 25 yards sorry.

Oh the good ole days!

Thats a good one. Every time I went to Ref Training it was the Navy Ship riders that got sick. Something about ships that actually rocked. I remember doing a spec opps training we had some Marine Force Recon on board. They could not wait to get off they were some sick pups. But I still wouldn't mess with them.

Here we go. I have to be careful, I am married to a Navy Master Chief. Difference between the Coast Guard and the Navy. In the CG the men are made steel and the ships are made of wood. How many Coasties does it take for an at sea burial? Six, three to throw him overboard and three to stomp him in the mud. And my favorite. If it weren't for the Coast Guard all Navy dependents would be ugly.
-
Not many ships I boarded had drywall.

If I remember correctly, from my days qualifing with the 870 when I was in the Coast Guard. We shot at 25', "aim for the belly button" all rounds in the chest abdomen area. We were also taught to bounce it of bulkheads and decks. We always refered to the 870 as the "universal translator", when you racked a round it cleared up any confusion.

AT&T coverage in TN? Im jones'n for an Iphone
Curiousgb replied to BimmerFreak's topic in General Chat
My wife and I wanted Iphones. We lived in Charleston, SC and were moving to Millington. What stopped us was the poor coverage from ATT. We stayed with Verizon and get good service even out in the Shelby Forest where we live. -
Welcome. My wife is Military Police and she started with a 22. IMO it is the best firearm to learn with, male or female. Everything else is gravy.

While the title of the Voting Rights Act might imply that it established an explicit right to vote for President for U.S. citizens, there is no such federal right. However, the Voting Rights Act and three constitutional amendments that prevent discrimination in granting the franchise have established in United States Supreme Court jurisprudence that there is a "fundamental right" in the franchise, even though voting remains a state-granted privilege. However, states are given considerable leeway when it comes to this "fundamental right".

Yes, I heard that and I would really like some clarification. I sure as hell, am not for bailing out people who took out loans they new they couldn't afford. I can see maybe refinacing at a reasonable rate but no way should they get something for nothing at "WE's" expense.
-
Get out the duct tape. I moved to TN on Aug the fourth. Two weeks later I was registered to vote.

Perhaps, it was harsh. It was a baited question and I took the bait. But he asked.
