  1. The second bracket of the night will be team based. The two finalists from round 1 will pick teams and then choose their competitors for each bracket of the second match. This could get interesting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Meant to add I should have a real time leaderboard on a big screen showing standings and the brackets and what heat we are in! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Tennessee Action Pistol will be hosting a plate rack challenge match this Wednesday the 18th. Match setup is bracketed double elimination with the potential of running 2 brackets. If there is time there will be some "Grudge Match" plate rack races at the end to wrap up the night! There are 5 plates on the rack and a pepper popper, mags/revo 6 rounds max. If you miss you will have to reload! It's a heads up man vs man race. Shooters will start low ready. This is a great match for beginners and advanced alike. We are proud to be using Newbold indoor safe targets, and are the only match in the area doing so. No need to worry about getting hit with shrapnel or rounds fragging! I'm attaching a video below in case you've never seen a plate rack match, and feel free to email us at tapclub@tnactionpistol.com if you have questions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKRg2rTUQ-k

  10. If you pass by Nashville, stop by Butchers Supply. It's on 3rd avenue. They have the best summer sausage cure and seasoning I've found. The packets come sized for 25lbs of meat and less than a couple bucks. You can also get the sacks and anything else there as well for what I think is a good price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So I tried something new last night. Mounted a game cam down range. There are over 2k pics to go thru, but here is a good one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I don't think there is enough pasters in Sumner co to patch all the holes you would make!
  14. Great match today. The rain held off just long enough. Jcoop I offer $32.47 for the m&p that doesn't work right...
  15. ORSA does the Toys for Tots and it's a great match for a great cause. We just want to do what we can here locally also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I wanted to get this out here now so it is on our minds as we go into November and December.   Tennessee Action Pistol will be hosting our weekly match December 16th (last match of the year FYI), but will be doing it with a goal of more than just friendly competition and practice.   Most of us are blessed more than we realize and this is our Clubs and our participants way of giving back.   We will be lowering the match fee to $5.00 that Wednesday with the donation of $15 or more in new unwrapped toy(s) . Donate as much as you can and would like as they are going to a good cause.   We are partnering with several organizations in Gallatin and will be donating them to help make some less fortunate kids Christmas just a little brighter. I will have a toy bin set up at the range (Sumner Gun & Supply in Gallatin) for drop offs anytime up until December 16th. On the 17th we will pile them into the truck (hopefully trucks) and take them to be donated.   This match will be a fun match, so load up the mags! Hope to have the new sponsors targets in by then so we will have more than cardboard and steel to shoot at!   Looking forward to the regular weekly matches until then. See y'all at the range
  17. All full mags are happy mags! If you mean 30rnd mags no sorry! 140mm max for the evening
  18. Also,   Full mags are expected! 140mm max (except for Mark and any others running PCC )    Reminder weapon mounted lights on handguns must have a holster designed for such. No uncle mikes with extra velcro!   Pistol Cal Carbines must be flagged at all times and as always its a cold range.   Average round count will be a MINIMUM of 23 rounds, but its gonna be dark and foggy so you do the math!
  19. Match is full with 20 shooters. Reminder to be inside by 6pm as you must be at the shooters meeting in order to play!   Stages are done, testing is complete, and is going to be a blast!    Spectators are welcome, eye and ear protection are required and you also must be in the building by 6pm.   Shooters Tip: Start trying to focus on little tiny reflective dots (eyes)! If not you may be in for a tough match!!!  :hiding:
  20. "Letting" you wasn't what happened. You won that one fair and square! I like shooting with you less each time lol. Just kidding and great shooting JCoop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. All scores have been emailed! Great 90+rnd match last night
  22. Practiscore is down doing maintenance, but scores will be emailed out shortly. Thanks to all that made it, crazy week with ball tournaments and back to school
  23. Tell her we said congrats! And you can email Robert at Robert.Standley08@comcast.net for more details. But generally setup begins at 7, shooters meeting at 9 and first shots to follow that. Show up and shoot, help in the morning is always welcome!
