Wednesday October 28th Tn Action Pistol will be hosting a VERY unique night match. Filled with Halloween themed goodness. Think tombstones, bats, skeletons, fog, and more! Guaranteed to be a blast. Due to the level of difficulty, this will be a limited match. We will be unable to take walk ons for this match. You must pre register via email at tapclub@tnactionpistol.com. We have 12 spots left for the match. Limiting to 20 shooters. This is not a match I would recommend for beginners, but are absolutely welcome to come watch and experience the craziness. Divisions are as follows: Pistol Handheld light Pistol Weapon mounted light (must have a holster compatible) Pistol Cal Carbine (mounted light) Match times: You must be in the building by 6pm, we will do a shooters meeting at 6:30, rounds down range by 7pm. You must be present at the shooters meeting at 6:30pm to play. Match will end around 11pm. More to come as we get closer, but register now to lock your spot!

Our Wednesday October 7th match will be an IDPA classifier. Normal match the week before and after. Match fee will remain $15 and $20(non member) including tax. Once registered and confirmed via email please be in the building by 6pm, we will begin at 6:10pm. Due to the time a classifier can take, we won't be able to accept walk on shooters this night. This is a limited entry match. We have 7 spots left. You must register via email with us to be included. Several of us will only be SO'ing in order to move through it in a timely fashion. The weekly match is held at Sumner Gun and Supply located at 526 West Main St Gallatin Tn, 37066. ​ You may bring your open gun or pistol caliber carbine and run NFC. We offer a safe environment from new shooters to experienced. Its a great opportunity to get some trigger time even if you aren't into the competition. We host matches at Sumner Gun & Supply every Wednesday. We will begin registration at 5pm, shooters meeting at 5:55, and first shots right at 6pm. Registration can be completed at the counter or by emailing TAPclub@tnactionpistol.com There will be stages designed for every skill level, and I can assure you the stages will be fun! TGO - David thanks for having a place we can post and keep folks informed Dave Severn - for keeping our guns running the way they should Chandler at BBI - everyone needs a great bullet to shoot 5.11, LASR, Master-Tac, Rudy Project, Sumner Gun and Supply, and all the other that are just as crucial in our success. Thanks to you guys we can do what we enjoy and help grow the shooting community!

Speaking of Gallatin Gun Club, they have a standard IDPA MATCH this Saturday as well. Robert is a good instructor and his shoots welcome new folks as well. Hope to see you tonight or Saturday as I'll be there as well.

If you're locale is correct in Gallatin we (Tn Action Pistol) host an IDPA or other action pistol match every Wednesday night at Sumner Gun & Supply. Bring out the xD and some mags / ammo and give it a try. We are new shooter/new to comp shooter friendly and make sure all have a safe and fun time.

Stages are set, going to be another fun match! Come out and get that last minute practice before the Masters or just come shoot some cardboard. See everyone tomorrow

Welcome to TGO and welcome back home

Hendersonville is just down the road from where we run weekly Wednesday night matches in Gallatin. We always have new shooters and are always willing to work with them and help them grow into the competitive arena if they like it. We run IDPA (defensive pistol) matches that are a whole lot of fun for all skill levels. We have a had a 15 yr old young lady come shoot with us a couple times now and she is completely new to firearms and seems to be enjoying the sport! This coming Wednesday we have another IDPA match scheduled and he and his parent/guardian are welcome to come out and watch or participate. A safe weapon, strong side holster and 3 mags are all that's needed. We generally have plenty of extras on hand, and he's welcome to shoot one of mine if need be. PM me if you want, and I'll be glad to provide them with my contact info!
