    My first Sig

NICE! I love the P230 SL. I hope it shoots as well as it looks for you. Ill take a guess you paid around 500$ and its a Mid 90's ( per the box) Late 90's they came in the plasic box.
  3. They have about 75 boxes of the 100 rd at Rogersville Walmart for 20$ as of 6 pm today
  4. Thanks for the replys everyone. The guy who has the Kimber along with myself decided to not trade. I just hate to part with the 5.7 .... I bought this instead.
  5. I just bought this the other day. P220 Match Da/SA Not had it out to shoot yet. but I like the gun so far in hand.
  6. If you have a Kimber SIS what do you think about it? I have a chance to trade my FN 5.7 for a very LNIB Kimber SIS. I really love the 5.7 and everything about it. I know I will miss it if I trade. I have never owned a Kimber. Talk me into the trade or out of it please. I have plenty of carry guns. So this isn’t an issue. I have a few 1911’s but no Kimbers.
  7. Here is mine. I love it. Shoots great. Light weight. 20 oz! (Unloaded) 20 rounds per mag. Ammo is easy to find and not to to bad at around 19$ a box of 50 I just wish I had bought this gun long ago.
  8. Why a truck gun. Dralarms stated it best. But I will add: What if I had one in the truck? And I had a Car Gun? And I had a Bike Gun? And I had a Garage Gun? And a Toilet Gun (hidden within reach of the thrown)? And I had a Work Gun (one hidden at the work place)? Also a Garden Gun (buried in a pelican case near the garden) Granted all but one would be a long gun but would you think me crazy? Would you think I was paranoid? Would you think I had too much time on my hands keeping all those guns lubed and fresh ammo in and around them? Just asking……………. As I can see it this can be taken as far as anyone wants it to go. Or we just accept the fact SOME like guns and want one or more near them at all times.
  9. Glad Im a Good Guy.!!!
  10. Funny after I wrote this I went looking on the internet and found this. Diamond System by Lansky Sharpeners So I guess i am looking at the right things per your guys suggestions.
  11. I was wondering what everyone used to sharpen his or her pocketknife? I use the old wet rock (Whetstone) with 3 in one oil. (30 mins a week) I’m sure there is a better and or easier way Also what’s the best way to hit those serrated blades?
  12. NICE!!!! May I ask what that set you back?

    EMP??

The fact that an electromagnetic pulse is produced by a nuclear explosion was known since the earliest days of nuclear weapons testing, but the magnitude of the EMP and the significance of its effects were realized much latter.

    EMP??

An EMP for 1075$ shipped. No tax yada yada yada....... Are these worth 1K? Who has one and can talk me into getting one or not. Thanks!
  16. I understand about the stolen gun part. I didnt want or mean to stir anything up. Thanks. I just wanted to hear some reasons was all. Not that it would change the way I buy and sell guns just curious.
  17. Just thought id pass this along I see Buds has these in stock now. Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail 45acp
  18. Yes take a look at the Rock Island Armory - 1911-A1 Compact, .45 ACP You should find one around 400$ a few boxes of ammo and there is your 500$
  19. I am not trying to talk you into just getting the gun and not worry BUT.... I have bought and traded about 60 guns over the past 2 years. Many I only met (emails and PMs) online. Some local from local papers. Some I have even just walked upon in a store parking lot with 2 others buying and trades and I jump in if they have what I want. I guess I am saying Id not worry about it.
  20. JH I love the gun. as you can see it shoots real good. I am sure alot better than I can. I dont think in todays guns you cant get a better built one for the money. The ammo was no problem as I also got 500 rounds from TDR with the gun.
  21. Thanks for the extra 10 points............... By the way I love that Ruger you have !!! Well by the OSB board I shot aginst it wasnt that one. I know I had to of hit it 10 times. The board was a 4x8 sheet. I do shoot with both eyes open and I tried to watch each shot hit. but maybe I did miss........ LOL
  22. Nice. if you can carry the XDM then the FN 5.7 will be as easy to carry. Maybe they will make one for the FN?
  23. Ok time to get back on Topic. I shot my new to me Dan Wesson 10mm Bobtail Classic that I bought from TDR. Rules stated: 1) 15 yards - (I was 17yds) 2) Two handed, any position - (I chose prone on a mat) Yes only nine holes. But I am almost certain the one has 2 in it. I used a OSB back board and it showed the holes better than the paper
