  1. JH I love the gun. as you can see it shoots real good. I am sure alot better than I can. I dont think in todays guns you cant get a better built one for the money. The ammo was no problem as I also got 500 rounds from TDR with the gun.
  2. Thanks for the extra 10 points............... By the way I love that Ruger you have !!! Well by the OSB board I shot aginst it wasnt that one. I know I had to of hit it 10 times. The board was a 4x8 sheet. I do shoot with both eyes open and I tried to watch each shot hit. but maybe I did miss........ LOL
  3. Nice. if you can carry the XDM then the FN 5.7 will be as easy to carry. Maybe they will make one for the FN?
  4. Ok time to get back on Topic. I shot my new to me Dan Wesson 10mm Bobtail Classic that I bought from TDR. Rules stated: 1) 15 yards - (I was 17yds) 2) Two handed, any position - (I chose prone on a mat) Yes only nine holes. But I am almost certain the one has 2 in it. I used a OSB back board and it showed the holes better than the paper
  5. Picked up my p238 today. I had ordered the 2 Tone with contrast sights. It came boxed from Sig with Night Sights. Im not real big on the fluted polymer grips. Maybe why the price was 429$ I wanted the aluminium but oh well. I only shot 4 mags of ammo in it. Each mag was a different type of ammo. Speer Gold dot 90gr GDHP Magtech 77gr SCHP Magtech 95Gr FMJ Fiocchi 95gr FMJ It shot all 4 with no jams. I was able to hold a 4 1/2 inch group at 8 yards.
  6. A well rounded and Good set of guns. Thats about all anyone needs. Welcome to the Forums!!
  7. Congrats JHatmaker. I know Ill like it:). I missed getting to the shop today. But I waited this long....... wont hurt to wait another day or 3.
  8. Thanks! I just put 50 rounds in it (and shot them) The weight is right but a bit big to carry in the summer but I will carry this in the winter. I love this gun!
  9. Ill have my First 238 in the morn. I order one from Top Gun Supply.(yesterday) He got a few in yesterday and as I just looked at his site they are already sold out. I had also made a order with Tri-Cities Gun Depot here iN TN
  10. I just have to post this one! I made a trade today with hkusp40cal 6 mags and 1000 rounds I am set now!
  11. Great gun there. Do not sell it. Even to me. No matter how much I may beg!
  12. In my ammo locker. I have been buying 380s for about a year now. a box or 2 every time I went to wall mart or seen em on sell online.
  13. After a few mags in this Micro.................. I have to say bye bye LCP. (as my carry gun) Well as soon as I put a few more rounds in it . This gun to me is the 1911 of the 380. That is the best way I can describe how it is shooting so far. Yes I carry a 380! and dang proud of it..........LOL
  14. Well as we wait on SIG for the P238 to get to our favorite dealers I had to buy something new. the itch just overcame me. I bought the Micro Desert Eagle .380 today. I’ve not shot it yet but the gun is VERY well made and I love the finish. Yes it is FUGLY but it has really grown on me. (tis why I bought one I think) I love the feel and it feels rock solid. After I get the Sig P238 I will do some side-by-side images of the 238, Micro and the LCP. I will then take all three out and do a full range report on the three. Here are 2 images. Not my best photos but you can see it at least. As a side note I cant wait untill the weekend as I am going to meet TDR and buy a Dan Wesson 10mm Bobtial from him. Any suggestion on how to handle TDR?

    What to Buy

Top considerations are... 1.)A Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44 magnum (always regretted getting rid of my only other handgun hunting capable weapon) This is what you should do! Fix a past regret if you can. 5.) An S&W 1911 for my wife (she's fallen in love with the damned thing, yet I can't GIVE her my Springfield 1911 loaded) The wife can wait. Birthday soon? Anniversary soon? Maybe even Christmas? Dont get me wrong I keep mine happy as I can. 6.) a colt python 6" This is almost a tie with #1
  16. The new Sig P238 Have her look at a image of it. Soon she will be able to hold one when they are in stock around the area. Tri-Cities Gun Depot will have them soon.
  17. Thanks!! Yes that VALOR is one sweet GUN! I am getting ready to buy my 2nd Dan Wesson. Im hooked on DW now. Thanks for selling it!!! I hope you dont miss it to much? The color is Dark Earth by Brad at CCR.....
  18. I just picked up my S&W from CCR in Greeneville. I love the work they did. Not many may like my pick of color, But I wanted something diffrent but not to flashy. So dont jab to hard when you take your punch!! A link to a page I put the before and after shots is: https://www.collectors-society...bs.com/6904/6904.htm Here is one image:
  19. Had to do it RightwingerTN........... Sig250 My Brute
  20. I would suggest a HARD long look at value for your dollar. Look at the Dan Wesson DW POINTMAN NINE PM-9 DW Pointman Nine But I am fond of the DW so my views may not count.

    P238 on Gunbroker!

One has already sold from CLEVELAND, TN 37311 Yesterday. Sig Sauer P238 .380 Two Tone 380 P380 In Stock NR! : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com Just 699.00 plus shipping.....
  22. My case was 140$ Still might be high for some. Your looking at a diffrent one that has wheels and a slide out pull handle I think. But you get what you pay for. Plus he will do custom work. 6 guns at one time that are kept very safe is better than 6 diffrent factory cases or a soft range case.
  23. Is it Tuesday yet? I hate the wait part also. Looks very nice. I hope you enjoy it!
  24. Ok I called Doug: This is the info he sent me in a email and I will post it as he sent it to me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll give you this link Custom Case Designs, Your tagline here this is my web site in it's semi-ready stages. It's a bit raw (I need better photos) and skeletonish and we'll be adding several products and what-not but it does give a decent over-view of the various pistol cases we have and some pricing. Some of the cases (the double-stacks in particular) are so open to design and interpretation that I'll have to quote them verbally and go from there. The others should be fairly dialed in. I'm still working with my web guy to iron out a few more flaws and glitches before I light the thing up. If anyone has any questions they can email me at info@customcasedesigns.com and I'll be happy to answer them. Also my cell number is 406.698.8650 - it's a bit hit or miss depending on the day and the noise but I always return calls. One more thought - if people are looking at my site tell them that the shipping hasn't been plugged in yet. I don't want them to thing I'm a crook. Also we've got some pistol racks that are very cost effective and I think people will really like them for a simple way to organize their safes and displays. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tell Him Jeff sent you It might save you a few bucks or it could add a few.....LOL
