  1. Im not sure about different calibers. Ill check.
  2. Does it come in other calibers? Im not sure maybe give Tony a call and ask him. I may get some with TGO on them? How many would want one ?
  3. I picked up this neat and very well made Key Chain today. It is machined solid aluminum and has a heavy anodized coating on it. The guys at Axis made it. They are a top-notch machine shop here in Knoxville Tennessee. I am not affiliated with Axis. I am just a happy customer. They will make great gifts for you guys with gun shops or what ever you have. You can have your Logo or name and Number engraved on them. I do not have any pricing but if you’d like more info give Tony a call at Axis and tell him Jeff sent ya. PM me if you want their phone number and cant find it. (I am not sure if it is ok to post their number here per forum rules.
  4. Ive always loved the look of the Ultra carry II. I am sure you will enjoy it. Nice!!!

    GSR

I noticed I didnt post my GSR Here it is in RED Here it is in Black: Want to trade that NEW 220 E TDR?
  7. I hate you TDR.............. Ive wanted a 220 Elite for some time now. If I havent got hung up on 1911's I guess id have one by now. Congrats...... I hope you enjoy it Compare it to that DW 10mm for me sometime please.
  8. Thanks TDR This is my 2nd 1911. The DW CBOB 10mm is on my short list. Let me know what you think of yours Please:)
  9. I had to find something to use my extra grips on: So I bought a LNIB (about 3 months old) Dan Wesson Valor the other day and I have had time to place 50 rounds down range and all I can say is WOW. (Yes I can shoot your eye out at 20 yards on a rest.) The Valor is stainless, with a nice "Duty" coat matte black coating. This coating is a ceramic base. I think its one of the best looking 1911s available today. I really like the Clean look without all the Graffiti stamped and cut into the sides of the frame and slide. Along with the solid trigger adds a bit of class to it. This trigger feels like ummmm… Well I can’t describe it but it is by far the best trigger I have ever used. Very light and breaks like crystal. The slide is smooth and solid. The fit and (as I stated before) finish is very top shelf. I did change the grips that came on it. I like the feel and looks of the thicker wood ones and I will be buying some burl ones soon. The factory grips show dirt and oil real easy as a side note, being woven micarta VZ grips. Overall I am 110% glad I bought this gun and Id recommend it to anyone wanting a mid price range 1911. Just get ready for a hunt to find one. As they only make a few of these every year and not many for sale out there.
  10. The P220 is a GREAT gun. I dont have any of the P-22LRs but I do have all 4 of 22LR conversion kits. Each of the kits work just fine and I would much rather have any of them over the Mosquito. Id have to join in and say get the P229 22LR for facts already stated.
  11. If I did the trade Id have to cough up some cash to add for the trade. Yes its my only AR15. Maybe Ill just upgrade to a Colt AR15? or a DMPS?

    New G26

I just looked at one today (G26). I did like the way it felt in hand. Seems like a nice sub-9MM and for 499$ I may just get one. I hope you enjoy yours and I look forward to a range report.
  13. I use only for targets. Your points are well taken and I may think this over and re change my mind. Thanks!!
  14. What are your thoughts on doing a upgrade from a Century AR15 5.56 to the FNAR 7.62.. Is it a Upgrade? Keep the AR15? Trade up to the FNAR? I know the ammo will be a issue to find plus it will cost more and I am ok with that. So what do you think? Link to the FNAR in case you havent see one: http://www.fnhusa.com/le/products/firearms/model.asp?fid=FNF049&gid=FNG022&mid=FNM0137
  15. Well I got the S&W 6904 (used) with 3 mags and 3 holsters. A very nice built gun. I only shot one mag in it so far. I had seen these before but never even picked one up as to me the S&W autos never caught my eye. But so far it seems like a gun I wish I hadnt overlooked beore.
  16. I was just looking over my guns. Most are two-tone to some extent. Being either the controls or the frame or slide making them two toned. I was wondering are you an All Black or All Silver (color) or a two-tone person. Silver = Stainless, Chrome, or anything other than a dark finish Black= all dark colors being a coating, bluing or even paint. Grip color is not counted.
  17. Thanks!!! Im sure ill buy this one. it has the rounded trigger guard.
  18. Has anyone used a S&W 6904 and have any thoughts on the gun? Doing a search on the net I find very few of them for sale. I think I will get one at a good price. But just wanted to see what you guys thought. Ball park price range? Also has anyone have info on the year it was made? SN# VCB3XXX
  19. OhShoot?? how do you add a new gun to the review list? I only see how to review guns already listed there.
  20. Tauras makes a few diffrent 905 models in the 9mm. One has a concealed Hammer. Price ranges from 300-400$
