1. So the AR50A1B is on the way. Now I need to start searching for a scope that works best on the 50 BMG. I'm wondering if some are more suited than others due to possible vibrations, MOA adjustments since I'd like to do some extreme long range shooting/experimenting, etc. I'd also like a lot of magnifacation in the scope for those long range shots to make up for lack of good eye-sight in my right eye. What do you guys recommend?
2. Just bought the AR50A1B off gunbroker and set up the FFL with D&T today. Pictures coming soon as I get the call to pick it up. Gun is coming from this guy: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=290031312#PIC He says he has one more in stock if any of you are looking. I know all the big name shops are sold out of them and have been out for a good while.
3. What did you use to paint/coat the barrel pink? What temps is it rated for?
4. Came across this Googling for something else. Thought I'd share just in case anyone hasn't heard of this. Join their group on facebook if you like.... http://www.facebook....61743290558881/ Ignore if its a repost.... FWIW, the V-day thing has passed, but I joined the group anyway.

6. According to who you buy from on Amazon, sometimes items do not ship from Amazon, but rather the actual seller. I've always had awesome packaging, good shipping rates and received packages fast from Amazon!
7. I couldn't care less how cheap USPS is because they lose more crap and deliver to the wrong address too often. 5 issues of my MM&FF magazine never came. I've had some mail brought back from two streets up with the same number, but different street name. 1 Coffee pot delivered to the wrong address. After numerous trips the the local PO, they offered no help and just claimed they delivered it. A couple months later, a neighbor said she seen a box under her deck/porch, picked it up and seen my folks address and brought it over. Good thing is wasn't electronics because the box had endured a lot of moisture and was falling apart! 1 Camera lens a mail-lady at the time would not deliver. She kept leaving attempt to deliver/pickup at post office notices in the mailbox. I was standing at the door one day (after the first notice where she drove off when we were home), came out and started walking to the mailbox and she looked right at me and drove off! I called and complained and they told me she had a choice not to deliver if she felt unsafe. WTF? My folks house is not in the ghetto! UPS and FedEx would be out of business if folks paid them to deliver to home addresses and they refused to do it! The only time I use the PO is when I buy an item and the shipper only gives me the choice of the PO. Too many times, I get screwed by them when I have to receive a shipment from the PO. Their customer service is nonexistent. Something happens, you're basically screwed and on your own! That said, UPS and FedEx FTW!!!!

9. Correction. The manager walks with you to the door and then hands your gun to you as you exit the building. lol
10. Got a link to CHMR? I have never heard of it.
11. Seriously, I've shot a lot of places growing up. But I've never seen so many clueless idiots in one place screwing up like this in my life! Why are folks so silly nowadays? Common sense? What happened? Yes, I like Stones River. But my dad doesn't. He's used to the freedom of shooting all day at my uncles farm, so that much structure gets on his nerves. I'll deal with the structure as long as someone is in place to keep the rookies and clowns from screwing up my day!
12. Disclaimer: I'm not an ass and I don't try to run any range I go. Today, the rookies and idiots were out at the range! First the rookies... Three young boys, probably 18-19 years old and their pistol grip 12ga. We all call out cold so they could put up a target as they just arrived. Some folks to my left decide to change their target as well. All of the sudden I hear the 12ga blasting away! So I had to scream out to stop them and tell them the cold/hot procedure. Then I think all is well and we resume shooting. Next thing I know, these same boys are walking down range to change a target without calling out cold! So I yelled down range again and explained it all in detail and the dangers. Seems they got it this time. Next up, the guy with an AK47 shows up with 500rds. Soon as I talk to him and ask what cal, etc., and step back toward my AR15, he starts shooting like crazy as fast as he can. This clown shot all the way across the 100 yard range targets from left to right (he was on the left, I was center, my dad was on the right target)! This douche didn't even setup a target before he went fricken Rambo! I just stood there starring at him boiling, so he proceeded to sit the gun down and go to the left side range to shoot something else. He didn't come back to the 100 yard but did take the AK47 to the closer rage (50yards?). Last guy, really old fellow. My dad switched to shooting the right side close range (25yrds?). This old guy would not call hot or cold and just would wander right down range and change his targets. I tried to explain to him the cold/hot procedure and he acted like I was trying to run #### and ignored me and kept doing it. So he moved to the left side (50yrds?) and started doing it again. I was shooting my .270 at this point and seen him moving down range in my peripheral vision and halted fire and called him out again in a tactful way. He just got angry and started mumbling off "You guys are big boys" yadda yadda. I don't know how you guys would react to this or feel, but this almost ruined my day. it really made it stressful at times as i was pissed and then I was also having to look out for idiots. I really think I need to find a better place to shoot where all the clowns and rookies can't have the freedom to be stupid! The only advice I could give to correct this problem is maybe if they (TWRA/WMA) had a printed out sheet with the rules and safety procedures of the range, and made folks read and sign it before they hand over the 2hr permit. That would be great!
13. I think its this one: http://www.dpmsinc.com/308-SPORTICAL_ep_97-1.html
14. I've also seen a knife cabinet at the Walmart off Old Fort with Nikon and Leupold binoculars, and one of them had both Nikon and Leupold scopes (think is was the one off S. Rutherford Blvd.). Those two Walmart Supercenters are where those cell pics came from.

16. This is the Colt as it came. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
17. That's where I bought mine. They carry the Colt LE 6920 that comes with two 20rd mags. I also seen a Sig with green Magpul MOE for about the same price I think as the Colt. Then of course they have the DPMS 308 and a Bushmaster AR like the Colt.
18. The article reads dust gets in the aluminum mags and causes failure to feed as well as they are more easily bent over the pmags. So your saying this isn't true and the aluminum mags are better?
19. That is stupid! They should be using MAGPUL instead of those junk mags!
20. Well, $35 seems to be the average. Not really bad IMHO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
21. Crappy phone pics for now, but here it is! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
22. I wonder why the other news outlets decided to send out emails to their sites that were more recently posted with a short comment and link to this site where it shows April 2011: http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=9223 Seems odd since it has already been squashed....
23. Just trying to find a reputable place and one that doesn't want a stupid amount for the transfer as I'm on a budget set by the wife here. Thanks. Thanks guys! I'll look them up!
