  1. Check out this Channel 5 video at the point where the two cops get pissed at each other when one cuts off a DICE cop. Competition for the cops to steal money... This really is sad. http://www.newschann...&clipId=7267350
  2. Hmm. That sucks. Glad I decided not to go to the range. I'd had over 200rds of 5.56 loaded in the Magpul 30rd magazines. Going next week, though. Guess I'll have to unload all these now.
  3. I won't be leaving it in the car, that's for sure! Just to get it from home to the range.
  4. Cool. At least I can have the magazines loaded! I don't mind separating the gun by having it in the trunk and ammo in the front of the car.
  5. I've searched around, but not found what I'm looking for. I'm trying to figure out what the law is for transporting my guns and ammo in my vehicle on the way to the range. I want to have my magazines loaded to save time since you only get 2hrs at most ranges. I just don't know if it is legal to have my magazines all loaded and in a carry bag along with the AR15 in a rifle carry case in my trunk. So help me out! I don't want to break any laws!
  6. Is this just a machine gun shooting show? Will there be a gunshow with it? Details and links please!

Thank you! I've been wanting to learn all of this! Know of any good books as well on the subject?
  8. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/wounded-military-vets-guns-confiscated-by-d-c-police-and-he-cant-seem-to-get-them-back/ This makes me question individual states gun laws or bans. Seems if your from another state and just passing through, that as long as that gun is legal in your home state and your just transporting it from storage, etc., they should have no right to confiscate.
  9. Some tips here: [media=] http://www.flexyourr...watch_DVD_clips I know it's kind of dopey because it is more or less directed at the ghetto type stuff, but it emphasizes "do not consent to searches" and keep your mouth shut, etc. For me, I am not a criminal and I simply would do this to save myself and the officer from a complete waste of time. That will allow him to get going and maybe catch a real crook. Edit: And to protect my property from damage that they would not be responsible for if I consented to the search.
  10. Just installed the Troy rail, Mako grip-pod, Magpul, etc., on my Colt 6920. Like?
  11. BTW, this is a new version of the Mako and just toying with it, it feels rock solid. Only thing is the buttons to release it are tough to push.
  12. Stuff came today. Got 880rds loaded in to the clips so far. The 6 to the front right aren't loaded yet. Should be 1040rds total when done unless they shorted me a few in the bulk ammo. ]
  13. Not sure on when they'll be caught up. I think demand right now is really high for AR's though. Outpost had other models of the S&W AR15 when I went up there, but nothing I was interested in. Walmart had the Colt 6920 LE for $1097.00 so I went for that.
  14. The Mako has a bi-pod built in to the grip. Click the link and check it out. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemDetail.aspx?sku=31922867 I thought it was a good choice since it is a grip and bi-pod in one.
  15. Well, I ended up going with a: (1) Troy AR-15 BattleRail MRF-C 7" Free Float Carbine Rail Aluminum Black https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/2TRYMRFCBK-1.html (1) Mako T-Pod Gen 2 Tactical Vertical Foregrip with Integrated Adjustable Bipod Polymer Black https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/31922867-1.html (3) Magpul Industries XT Rail Rail Cover Panel OD M16 AR15 (screwed up and ordered green by mistake heh) https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/2MPIMAG012ODG-1.html And then..... (34) Magpul PMAG 30 Polymer 30 Round AR-15 Magazine 5.56 NATO, Black (1) 5.56x45mm Lake City M855 FMJ 62 Grain Steel Penatrator 1000 Loose Bulk Case 3025 fps https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM223C-5.html I got 34 mags so I could have all 1,000 rounds already loaded up in magazines. I hate having to stop and reload a couple magazines when at the range! :-) Good start? :-D
  16. So I'm looking for a Rail for my Colt 6920 LE. I also would like a bipod that doesn't add a ton of weight and stick out all bulky. So I came across the Stag Arms LWI Quad Pod: http://www.stagarms....products_id=342 Do any of you use this and have any feedback? Likes and Dislikes? Is there a similar but better and cheaper unit available elsewhere, or just a place that has a better price on this than Stag list price of $295? Thanks in advance!
  17. Congrats! Would love to see some pictures of it if you snap a few. I was looking in to the S&W M&P 15T Tactical, but Outpost Armory didn't have any in stock, so I settled for the Colt AR15 6920 LE.
  18. If you want to know how and why the left tries this regulatory BS, read Obama's regulatory Czar's book "Nudge, by Cass R. Sunstein and Richard H, Thaler. You see, if they can't ban guns, they'll try to tax your ammunition (Nudge) so high like they did tobacco, that you'll say "screw that, I'm not paying that much" and not buy it or give up the hobby. But since they knew they couldn't get by with that on Ammo, they tried the environmental regulatory side of the Government machine to drive up the cost of your ammo. You see, if they can make the manufacturers switch to more expensive bullets, that will drive the cost up as well. Same result and add in the demand for ammo right now and it would be really expensive to shoot or stock up. The government has a lot of tools at its disposal to Nudge you out of whatever they want and in to what they want you to do. See, if you want a hybrid car or solar panels on your roof, they give you tax breaks and rebates. I've heard tax rebates of up to $7,500 on electric hybrids. A quick google search turned that up^ But you get the point. Our Government is not working for the people anymore, it is working for that top down control over the people much like other Socialist and Communist countries do. They'll regulate, tax and Nudge you right in line where they want you.
  19. So school me. I have just bought 1,000rds of 5.56 FMJ NATO. I also bought a bunch of MAPUL Clips. Would it be wise to store the loaded clips, or unloaded? If it's ok to store the loaded clps, what is the best way? Like your setup, wrapped in paper in an ammo can?
  20. Check out the pictures of the two and maybe you can ID them next time one pops up or crawls out to gets some sun. Those Alligator snappers grow a lot larger and their shell has more tall-pointy armor.
