  1. Thanks for heads up. These will see little or no range time I have a couple of other revolvers with no attachment to feel the urge when needed
  2. I agree, Yep its been a crappy year but we need to take a deep breath and give Dooley a chance. Its hard to recruit when the kids don't know for sure who their coach is gonna' be from year to year. Thats alot of what got us into this mess.
  3. Funny story (not really) is that I think this is the same gun I can remember finding and carrying in my toy holster when I was very young. I can barely remember doing this and don't know where everybody was. Probably dressed in t-shirt, underwear and holster I'm soon to be 60 and grew up on a farm so things were different back then, still not safe . Thats a nice piece you have also Unclejak thats not an badge from andersonville in east tenn is it ? Thanks everybody from all the compliments. My aunt also has a mint S&W 32 in the box also shes keeping it for awhile because I told her years ago that be good gun for her. I don't want anybody to think I'm a vulture about this stuff they beg me to take stuff every trip I make and usually refuse but I worry about the guns showing up "missing" they have people that help around the house. I tell them what I think value is and know they will be safer here.
  4. Thanks alot for the info I never thought abput it being that old. Glad the 4 screw brings a premium even tho' I don't plan on selling just put them and enjoy them.
  5. Oh I'm not a fair weather fan but weekends like this last one suck ! I mean Pat lost one. to # 1 and that Grinder monster. (size 17 shoes on a women ) Pat's not supossed to lose. Just a rough weekend for the Vols.
  6. No letter prefix the same # is on the butt, cylinder and bottom of the barrell. The blue book says "M&P model of 1905 -4th change" serial # range from "241,704-approx.1,000,000 " There's a 5 digit # 167xx where the usual model # is when you drop the cylinder. The cover plate has 4 screws with one in the front of the trigger guard. Which means nothing to me, but thought there was a difference with the number of screws
  7. Kinda off thread but uncle is from Tenn been here all his life, moves to fl at what point can he not give legally give weapons to relatives here in Tenn. I mean I look at it as they are Tenn guns. I'm not in the mix for this but my wife's side could be
  8. I have one for my S&W CS 45 great holster for the little compac I lucked out and found mine on GB got it and a OWB for about the price of one new one
  9. Brought these home my Mom and Aunt (sisters) I'm the last of the family and they wanted me to have them. The first is a S&W model 19-4 with all the paperwork, brushes, an old S&W holster, Receipt from 1979 for $249 plus tax and check out the ammo. The second I'm not sure about can't find a model # maybe a S&W military & police 1905 serial # is 6097XX if anybody has any ideas Also brought home my 22 and 28 gauge single shot savage that my grandfather passed on to me when I very young. sorry pics got reversed. Short family history My mother and aunt live next door I'm an only child my aunt had an only child 17 days difference in our age and we grew up together lost him to cancee both father and uncle were hunters and fisherman also gone. So we're all thats left on my side. The only reason I bring this up is thats reason they give me these things
  10. I know this is kinda of going on another thread but ,but whats happening to Tenn sports that you can't watch them win at something anymore. Mens BB at Maui they seemed to play OK but fell short ( 1 win ). Sat FB VOlS/ KY , Sun lady VOLS / baylor loss. Grinder needs a DNA check. Mon men BB lose to who ? Oakland ? . I didn't bother to watch all of it because I saw it coming. I 'm not a hadcore sports addict but do enjoy watching a win every once in awhile. In the past you always watched games thinking we going to win. Best I remeber we sucked at baseball also. Losing certainly doesn't help recruiting
  11. Maybe ones that hope they won't have to play
  12. Anyone else find humor in the fact that Albert Haynesworth is the only one wearing longsleeves at the jaguar / titan game today. my mistake some of the kickers have longsleeves
  13. I didn't hear the quote but it sure did look like what I saw on there also. Maybe their heads were still swollen after The Vandy win . I do hate that the few senoirs don't get to play in a bowl. After all its been a pretty rough 4 years for them, and they stuck with it..
  14. Best to hunt at nite It glows dayglow green.
  15. Eagle Creek Armory link For it
  16. I think they blew more than one call. But from I saw Tenn played about as bad as I've seen them play. Bray wasn't accurate, receivers dropping balls, bad communication. They just didn't look as good as they did earlier in the season. Agreed Dooley needs one more year aleast unless Jon Gruden changes his mind and thats not gonin' to happen. Look at Muschamps season with all the tallent he had he already better be getting worried As far as Kentucky football
  17. I'll second this !
  18. Sorry to hear it went this way "especially for the dog" but it sounds like this was no win situation for you trying to do the right thing. It 's ashame that their are people like this out there. I know you barely gave any details but I have pretty good idea I know the owners type.
  19. You gotta catch a few episodes. It's an all time classic espicially the one with coach. Its on all the time
  20. Love the old sitcoms . I thought I saw where one channel was goning to have a holiday marathon the week but I can't find it . If I see it again i'll give a heads up. I know everybody loves "All in the family" But "Barney Miller" was a lesser known that I liked alot
  21. I saw on the news where the "occupy protesters" could possibbly try to block some shopping malls. They may try to block some Wally worlds. I don't about ya'll but I'd like to see that at some of the ones around here. I mean can you see them trying to keep Bubba and the family out by blocking their way
  22. Christmas came early Buddy's BBQ smoked prime rib on the counter as we speak Just waiting for me to do the slicing honors
  23. Told 'ya so
  24. Good story you teared me up on this one. Had a ole lab alot like tick everybody around knew him.
  25. You've hit the jackpot. I know the guy thats over all the smoking we've got our name in the hat for his smoked primed rib for Christmas if they do any this year. I don't think they offer this on a regular basis tho' NEVER have I had anything this good, unbelievable !
