Pretty much the way I feel. I didn,t catch all the channels I just saw a quick blurb On Speed vision and I think the football game that on 43 here in knoxville.

Anybody with direct see some messages about direct TV possibly not having the fox channels by Nov 1. This would include fox sports, FX, speedvision and some others. It had something to do with a 40% rate hike. I just reuped my direct but don't know if I could do without FX. I can't see missing Sons of Anarchy, Justified, and alot of other ones I can't recall right now. I wonder if its some kind of scare tactic for rate increase

I suggest you spend a few days in both places., Get a feel for the community. I think there is a fair amount of differences between Johnson City and Cookeville. Cookeville has more of a small town feel while JC has more of a larger city feel. Just my opinion.

I've lived my whole life in east Tenn but if if I ever relocated it would be Cookeville for me I worked in Cookeville for 8 years. Some of the nicest people I'ver met, people are friendly and have alot of old time values. I can't really put my finger on why I liked it so well but it seems like everytime I mention Cookeville being different "in a good way". people agree with me.

For steak "The Peddler" in Gatlinburg. One of those places they bring the meat out to your table and you pick what you want and how thick. You won't go away hungry for sure. A little pricer but has been there for ever. Great place, beautiful country, historical, lotsa' small town appeal, the few people I met were really nice. Actully Cookeville was another excellent choice for a good city. Different from Rogersville but has alot of good qualities

I think blade quality is different, taiwan crkt vs china wally. Titatinum "spelling" instead of aluminum frame, frame lock vs liner lock. I watched some stuff on youtube until I got bored but they spell out the difference. Half the price for EDC, I just wished somebody besides walmart had 'em I saw one on another forum new in box for $35 shipped
