I've heard cornmeal will do the same thing

They eat it, take it 'home,' can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works and you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

Ditto for me never had a bad experience with one. I think alot depends on how your atitude is with them After all who wants problems at work.

Thats what i thought I've got a ramp here that I can back it into and test it in the lake. I wasn't getting any water out of the exhaust just the foot . No I'm not big earmuff guy ether. I though maybe the thermostate weren't opening up and maybe stuck.I didn't want to run it too long on the muffs but I didn't think the weep hole water shoud steam. If its steaming is this too hot ?/

Just fired my boat motor up on earmuffs after sitting for a year (mercury 150 xr6). It started up good, good flow of water out of the pee hole. The only problem was it seemed too hot. It was steaming and to hot to keep your hand under it but for a few seconds . I had the water pump replaced two seasons ago and only used the one season.Thinking about taking it end for maintence anyway but I hate to fool with draging it to shop because I'm lazy and its a deck boat. Any of you boat guys got an opinions.

When I worked in Cookeville I had several dealings with GOC and when it was GOLSN. All mine were posItive. I know of at least 3 LEO's . Everybody Was on the up &up and was always a good experience. This was in the early days. I Think the pricing has gone a little astray now. I know if I don't like the price don't buy it. I still look at it from time to time.
