  15. Thanks Capbyrd for the research. I have seen numerous photos of the car and never knew who had it made. It apparently still exists and is in the King Ranch Museum. Here is a shot of the interior, not much of a gun picture but you can see the butts of three rifles in the fender.
  16. I have featured this car before but I think these are new photos.
  17. Yep did it again, I seem to have some duplicates to clean out of my files. Here is a different Texas Ranger photo from a bit earlier time.

  19. Just realized I posted a repeat so here she is all grown up.
  20. I don't have the acreage you have but a neighbor asked if he could put a tree stand on my property and I said no problem just remember where the house is and I get a steak if you get a deer. Had the same arrangement with some hunters at our old place. They appreciated the free place to hunt enough they brought me a steak the first year even though they didn't take the deer on my property. Since you say you're not doing it for the revenue maybe you should just ask for a list of who is hunting and ask for some of the meat for the use of the land. They may keep you in free meat and they may continue to help you with your property.
  21. I burned my Yankee card the first week I was here. I asked a fellow that was delivering some lumber at our house how long I had to wait to start complaining about the Yankees and he asked if I had my TN drivers license and I said yes and he said feel free to start complaining. Amanda/Jeremy if you're checking out your options feel free to ask questions, we are mostly friendly. If you have already jumped in to TN, welcome to the United States.
