Wasn’t particularly complaining just wanted to post something because I know a lot of people on here might keep things NIB or not shoot them but wow I holy doubt every single gun for sale online is New and some of the prices are ridiculous I was surprised at how much traction this post got wasn’t trying to upset anyone.

I'm not upset at all. I, by my nature, get to the point. We just have a current presidential candidate going through essentially the same thing with New York. What someone wants to sell their property for doesn't matter if the buyer wants to buy it at that price point.

Now if someone falsely advertises and item that isn't what they say it is then there's something to complain about, and why there's reputation points on the forum.

    I hope that makes sense.

I cant believe how many times I come across something in here and somebody want top dollar for a firearm they own and claim its never been shot or only one magazine and I just find it hard to believe that nearly everyones weapons are not shot or LNIB. idk if this is wrong to post here or not excuse me if it is.

Then buy somewhere else. That is your right.  Complaining about it is not. It's other people's property until YOU buy it.

  3. As a old former LEO, (in another state), my first thought was that the dispatcher/police officer blew you off because they didn't feel that it arose to a crime without bothering with an investigation. That's wrong, and probably violates their department's rules. Go higher up in the food chain.

Brandishing a weapon: I think that he was brandishing without brandishing. In other words, he is playing with the line. If he fiddled with the gun - not something like holding the rifle strap in place on his shoulder while talking to you - then it could be considered as brandishing. Assault, not so much.

NO ONE has a right to tell you that you cannot use public space in a lawful manner when it doesn't interfere with another's rights. That includes sidewalks as they are grouped. Me? I'd do what I normally do, and have my phone ready to record if he confronts you again.

TCA 39-17-1307 Make carrying club misdemeanor. TCA 39-17-1308 is the defenses which list what has been already mentioned.

I carried one for several years only really used it to get something that fell under a patrol car or break windows. I always just went to hard hand/ strikes same level. Carrying oc spray doesn't require any cert if I recall and that will make most people not having a mental issue or drug issue eyes clamp down and they typically aren't as aggressive physically anymore.

Ya just have to make sure that you aren't downwind. It ain't fun when even a little blows back into your face.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Good Samaritan law also protect untrained people who try to help from being sued?

IANAL, but my understanding is that it does, but you can't enforce it on lay-people like you can an EMT, paramedic, nurse, doctor, and such. I haven't practiced for 24-years, but that's how I was trained.

  6. I have a pseudo-trauma kit in each of our vehicles.

I've heard people say that they're afraid of being sued for rendering care to an injured person, but the Good Samaritan laws require someone who's trained to stop and render aid, and they cannot be sued for doing so. In other words, you can't make a law requiring trained personnel to stop and render aid under crappy circumstances, and allow them to be sued for it. If they catch you just driving by then you can be sued for not rendering aid. That's a good reason NOT to get specialty plates indicating your profession...if you don't want to stop, that is.

  7. For sale is my new/unfired JTS M12AR 12-Gauge shotgun with 2 x 5 & 2 x 10 rnd magazines, Surefire ProTac 350W light, and 3 boxes of 00-Buck cartridges in full and reduced power: $250.

I bought this from PSA on one of their sales for $199.99, (MSRP is $399.99), on a pure impulse buy, and slapped the Surefire light on it for my wife to use as an "Alamo" defensive position in the bedroom. Unfortunately, my wife's T-rex arms, (she's 5' tall) make it impossible for her to shoulder and fire it. I do not hunt, and I have an MPX for home defense, so I have no need for it. Add the cost of the light, 10-rnd magazines, and shotgun shells costs and you'll see this is a good deal for a technically "used" weapon.

Sale is limited to established members only, so no low post counts. Fraudsters need not try!

I'm willing to meet for transaction at either Murfreesboro's, or Lebanon's, police station parking lot if'n ya don't want ta come to my house.

  10. Excellent condition, my wife's S&W 642 with Crimson Trace grips and 80 hand-loaded rounds of 110gr Hornady XTP bullets at +P pressure: $450 firm

I bought this for my wife around 2008, and she has never carried it - nor has she shot it very much. A good guess would be under 300 rounds through it from my kids and myself. I'm pretty sure the original box is somewhere in the attic. 🤔 I should also have the original grips in the box as well.

I found that for me it is less about the color and more about the optic itself but I also have astigmatism.

Check out the Cylee Wolf2-G here: https://www.cyeleeoptics.com/products/cyelee-wolf2-g-astigmatism-relief-green-circle-dot-sight-for-rmr-footprint-3moa-dot-and-64moa-ring-reticle?_pos=1&_fid=ec33b1581&_ss=c

It's for people with astigmatism, is very sharp for me and my wife, has features found in more expensive sights, (like shake-awake), and has great reviews. Battery loads from the top so no removing the sight to change a battery. For around $127 it can't be easily beaten.

As far as the OP question, I switched to green because the red washes out when the sun is remotely low. I noticed it when I would shoot out back while facing east in the late mornings. The green doesn't even wash out when looking at foliage with it.
