I don’t have a side sir. If I did have a side, please show me where they’re being sued for $1.6 billion for lying and knowingly providing misleading and defamatory information about another entity.
Please participate in the poll.
You have made YOUR side of the aisle known on this forum for many years.
I look at many sources for news, and I don't believe what any COMMENTATOR - note that I didn't write "News Reporter" - has to say about what I see as I can think for myself, critically. Example: I watched the video of President Trump talk about the demonstrations in South Carolina (?) over historic statues being removed IN CONTEXT. He said that both sides had good people, and he was right. Next thing I know the idiots on the left accused him of racism, and perpetuated the lie FOR YEARS. Said idiots included those at CNN, MSNBC, and the major networks. I guess you've never heard of Nicholas Sandman.

I think the OP is pretty hypocritical considering what HIS side of the aisle lies about.

I use to order the hottest they had at any of the Hot Chicken Places. Fun fact: If you eat enough Ghost Pepper your pee will burn when you go. Alas, today my intestines will not tolerate what either my mouth or butt can handle. I had some Hattie B's Damned Hot last week while downtown for VA visits, and my wife could hear my guts rumbling from 3 feet away.

Have been a connoisseur of Princes in Nashville the place that started it all about thirty years for me. After many trips and talking with owner She told me the trick is using the best spice mix and that it is quite expensive to purchase and cooking at a high heat so it goes all the way through. I have tried most of the local places and was not impressed except for Hattie B's which is just OK. I seen it last week in the hot deli at Publix and asked the Mgr if it was any good,of course they said yes and handed me a sample. I tried it and it was fantastic, not your KFC pour on a bunch of Texas Pete. Went back got half a pound. I would rate it right up there with Prince's. It is warm and stays with you about ten minutes but not screaming hot.it is about like Prince's mild or Hattie B's medium. Said they have it about two days a week. I mostly cut it up for topping on a salad or in pasta dishes.
You lost me at "mild."

This should require a consensus from several doctors, in my opinion. Perhaps confirmation from at least two of three.
We are talking about taking away a person's rights without trial.
I would say three. It's too easy for two to conspire for whatever warped reason they might harbor.

Many physicians share the opinion that simply owning a firearm is a mental deficiency.
As for opinions, I simply want this type thing to stop without making me and millions of other law abiding citizens criminals.
I've never met one, but I'm 6'4" and 270lbs, so maybe they're reticent about it so they don't piss me off!

@Worriedman, thank you for your ongoing legislative updates! As a recent transplant and newbie to TGO, it's helping me get up to speed on current TN firearms legislation.
Quoting the Lebanon Democrat:
House Bill 1005 lowers the age of permits to 18 and changes the term handgun to firearm in Tennessee code.
Good, yes?
Senate Bill 1503 had an amendment added this week from Sen. Brent Taylor, R-Memphis, in the Senate Judiciary Committee that will prevent long guns from being openly carried.
Would SB 1503, as amended, require that long guns be carried concealed?
They said on WTN's talk radio that 4 so-called "Republicans" had a hand in tanking the bill. Their constituents should be blowing them up!

We had a black vulture fly into the grill of my wife's Cadillac XT5 just last month. It punched a 6" hole in the grill. Cost it $2,000 for the repair next week.

@Stromtrooper77 I'm sorry you're in the same boat. It truly sucks. Did you get any email responses yet after submitting the 'refund request'? Im reading all sorts of conflicting information about legal options. There may be no obvious (provable) criminal intent and it will simply be a civil matter. But they aren't local so I imagine you'd have to go to the local court in kennersville north carolina. It really sucks because this will assuredly cost more in time and lawyer fees than what I am currently out. I bet Spartan realizes this and until we get a confirmed large group of wronged customers to after them, I imagine it will be a lost cause.
Keep us posted if you hear of anything.
@bersaguyI don't see how you could prove any actual criminal intent. Not from my end at least. At this point since the business hasn't filed bankruptcy (that I can find), we are dealing with a business who hasn't delivered a product. They have "taken action" to get refunds back, but its not looking great. From that perspective it seems like they're doing everything they have to do. Probably just giving them enough time to cover themselves and get out of this without a trace and leave us all empty handed.
@E4 No MoreThe question is, is this even criminal? Its just a business that hasn't delivered at this point. That's typically between the two parties and outside of law enforcement is it not? Maybe I'm wrong?
I don't think it's as you think, but I'm not as familiar with Tennessee law as I was in the state that I was a cop. The fact that they took your money and never paid their supplier would make it criminal in my book; not just a non-delivery. I recommend that you contact the detectives in the Murfreesboro PD to discuss the particulars. If this happened in Nashville I wouldn't recommend this course of action as they are certainly not going to sweat it.

@E4 No More Not sure the local police will care and I don't see them going after a defunct company whos headquarters are out of state. Just a poor situation sadly.
Having been a police officer - although, not in this state - I haven't seen any detective or prosecutor in a smaller jurisdiction that didn't act on an easy case to clear so that it padded their numbers.

I would contact a lawyer AND the police. Since they took your money under false pretenses and never paid the manufacturer then that's theft through fraud.

In this day and time of the interwed when you buy stuff, pay, then wait for the stuff. I am not surprised more of this does not go on. I was, at one time, a "cash and carry" like DO-TN posted. However the brick and mortar stores are just not keeping stock like it was years ago.
Sorry this happened to you tinyhatmodel.
What's an "interwed"?
