The more lawyers that are in the legislature and the longer they are there, the more complicated the laws.

All three states honor the TN HCP. Kentucky is a Gold Star state with regards to open carry. You have the right to open carry in KY without any permit. IN allows open carry with a permit just as TN does. OH has OC without a permit but OC in your vehicle requires a permit. All three states have total preemption.

I have both a sense of humor and a temper. I just keep hoping I have the sense to know when to use one over the other.

Hello all, I'm Wayne and live in East Nashville. I'm an armed security officer. I carry a Glock 30 both on and off duty, and I open carry. I'm not a cop wannabe. I generally try to shoot at least once a month (finances permitting) and I generally shoot at Gun City.

That will make at least 2 of us. I OC all over Nashville without anyone trying to shoot me first or steal my weapon. There may not be a tactical value, but the strategic one of preventing crap to begin with is a big one.

If its not posted or a "forbidden" venue, I carry open.

I really doubt it. I've seen nothing in statue that would make anytype of holster illegal. Get the guy from work to show you the law that makes those items illegal.
