Man I was a Ramp Agent for almost a year and that's why I'm about to quit. That place is ridiculous. I'm glad it worked out for you though, but it ain't for me.

LOL My boss is giving me pretty much full hours. I just need another steady check and some benefits to help out. Fedex is just to much hassle. That place steals your soul.

Well due to some extreme circumstances I'm about to have quit my night job at FedEx and was curious if anybody here knew of a decent place to work nights? If anybody knows of a place send me a pm or just reply here. Thanks guys and gals.

When I'm at my Range job I carry open obviously. Going to and from work I make no great attempt to hide it. I just throw a coat or vest on over it. I've open carried in a few gas stations going to and from work and sometimes I get odd looks, but the way I look and am dressed most just assume I'm a cop or security. I have actually gotten a few people interested in the range by them seeing my gun and shirt and asking questions. Mostly though I conceal any other time. I like having my "ace in the hole."

I can't wait til I get some more cash, which might be ahwile since I just quit my current capacity at work and am stepping down (long story), but I want an XD 40 service in bi-tone with night sights bad!

Thought I'd start a thread to see how many XD owners are out there. I own one (XD9 sub-compact in black) and want a few others. So do you love 'em or hate 'em? Weigh in boys and girls.

Range USA here in Memphis. I work there so I'm biased, but I'll say this as a fact, we sure do get alot of RangeMaster's customers. Our instructors are top notch and all are law enforcement or ex-military. Great atmosphere and several classes to offer. www.rangeusa.com

You can get certified for almost anything, but most people don't wanna carry around all that stuff. I carry Fox Labs spray from time to time, but mostly just my gun and knife. Batons have their place, but they aren't practical for the majority of the citizenry.

To many people think the permit makes them ready and that is a very sad line of thought. We preach extra training to our permit classes like crazy. I don't know how many times I've said " I don't care if you take the training here or somewhere else. Just take the training!"
