10+ years ago, Georgia didn't require background checks for HCP holders. I don't know if it has changed or not. HCP's were also good for 5 years and cost less than TN. That may have changed due to state economic conditions. -

Cleveland hunting, rifle and pistol club has IDPA, 3 gun and cowboy. Probably about the same distance as Oak Ridge for you.

ORSA had a IDPA this past Sat. 12/3. There were (I think) 79 shooters and several were first timers. Just show up, be safe, and have fun. -
Get a box of .22 CB's. They are quieter than a BB or air rifle. They will penetrate a 2 ltr. coke bottle full of water, but will bounce off of a 2x4 or plywood. In a rifle, they are so quite that birds (starlings) will not even fly. In a pistol they are louder.

And a pretty accurate opinion, IMHO. 16,000 sq. ft. is a pretty small manufacturihg plant. Maybe just the start of a phase out from CT.

I believe the German's made them during WWII. If I remember correctly, they were used on U-boats.

Welcome to the forum. I'm a member at Cleveland. Welcome To Cleveland Hunting, Rifle and Pistol Club If you want to go out one afternoon, send me a PM. I prefer weekdays as it's less crowded. Weekends have 3 gun, IDPD, and cowboy taking up several or all pistol bays.
