Nice pocket rocket. Have you already gotten a holster and mag pouches for it? Other question is why did you go with yellow?

I survived 2012 so bring on 2024. If the Rock gets elected say in 2020 he can make Randy Orton head of the Space Corps so he can hit the sun with an RKO outta nowhere.Funny you mention that. One of the crackpots who calls into the local talk radio show every evening was talking about that earlier. According to him the 2024 eclipse path will cross with this year's forming a perfect x marks the spot over the "epicenter" of the New Madrid fault. Because all total eclipses coincide with some cataclysmic event, well fellas, 2024 doesn't look too good.

There are some on my dad's farms and at our house. Not many but they are still around. They will never be back here like they were in the 1970s or 1980s (wish I would have seen it) but they have made a slow come back. My aunt is going to start raising them and releasing them but who knows how that will work out.

Will I have to attend a hazing seminar?

This goes out to anyone who shoots registered trap targets. I've been chasing points since June and after everything is said and done I got 334 All American points and 9000 targets for the year. I haven't made the jump to the next level of my shooting but hopefully I can do that this next year. I've made a few changes to better my scores that I believe will give me a bird or two. Here's all my work laid out for you in a convenient picture. If you want to comment or ask questions, feel free to. The one thing I wish I could have done was to get some footage of the shoots and interviews with both shooters and industry people.

I agree 100%. Time to play around with new things and experiment is at the range. Make sure to challenge yourself to find your own weaknesses. Good for you on putting your ego aside.

What's wrong with 1911's and M1a's? That all Springfield "makes".
Not a fan of them. I don't personally have any sort of attachment to steel and wood so I see anything special about these guns. This was more of a blanket statement to include anything with their logo on it but hey if the shoe fits I'll wear it.

Guy is very sick and twisted. There is unfortunately no good answer to this. We can't kill people like this so we lock them away. They may receive treatment or may get worse. Good thing that pedophiles can be held longer than their sentence is. I know the answer we all have is to kill them but that's just not the world we live in. Now he'll serve out his sentence with a bunch of sickos like himself and will be out and reoffend in no time.

Happy with everything I have. I've stippled and dremeled but I always come back to a factory frame. Just had my 19's frame replaced and I couldn't be happier. For me the stippling and dremeling was a fad. I honestly did that because I got bored and was trying to solve problems I didn't have. Just add a set of sights, a holster, and mag pouches and I'm good to go.

If you're that set on getting a better trigger then change to a 4.5 lb striker spring and save some money.

19 all day. Why get a new gun if you're satisfied with the Glock?

Thank you for posting this SGS! And Good on ya for getting out and doing the work!
It sounds like a solid class, especially for a one day class. Training such as this, and especially in the rain, teaches you a lot about yourself and your gear, things you will never learn on a dry square controlled range.
Many props to your instructor for running a "Hot Range"! Life is a "Hot Range" and as responsible armed adults we need to learn to work in such an environment.
I look forward to further reports along your journey SGS.
Thanks Prag. You always something valuable to say. I will be taking another rifle class with him this fall along with trying to train with Cruel Hand Luke when I get a chance. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up and take a class you are in sometime soon.

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner. I saw alot off stuff posted on bookface from Jerry, Abner, and Dave. Hope that anyone who took the class enjoyed it. The amount of knowledge that Dave possesses is insane.
