starting to lose faith in people. after holding this gun for two week and being contacted last night that the buyer would head my way around 11am eastern time i got ghosted. planned my whole afternoon around meeting this guy who said he really wanted the gun. i get that #### sometimes happens but i had planned to honor my word and meet this guy at a time that was convenient for him only to get stood up and hang out for a couple of hours this afternoon waiting to be contacted. all that crying aside... gun is back up for sale. $425 cash to qualified buyer. price is firm. i like to haggle as much as the next guy but please don't contact me and offer me $350 and want me to drive halfway to nashville.

i have to caveat my z9 remarks. i took the gun out today and put around 50 rounds through it. gun wouldn't lock back with either mag today. they still ran well and i was even alternating cheap steel ammo in them trying to get them to fail but it was odd that both mags wouldn't lock back after last round... i'll have to give them another go soon and see if anything changes.

still available. price reduced to $500 bottom dollar. if i can't get that for it from a qualified buyer i'll just keep it in the safe.

let us know how they run. i've still not had any issues with my s15 mags and as a mater of fact i ordered some z9 mags for my glock 43 and tried those out yesterday. funtioned flawlessly. one thing i have seen is that these mags sometimes "wear out" and may work fine for a while but then weeks or months down the road they will fail. i guess time will tell but i'm happy with them for both my g43 and g43x.

if by "thermal release" you mean mag release then yes i did. i actually had a little difficulty swapping it out but think i could do it pretty quickly the next time... the "combo packs" from shield usually come with the metal mag release. i'm fine with the metal mag release and not being able to use the factory glock mags. i know that's an issue for some folks.

my 43x sat in my safe for a long time while i carried my hellcat. i won my shield mags in an auction (nobody else bid) and thought i'd give them a try since i had them. i have put quite a few rounds through all my gen 2 mags and they have worked almost flawlessly. i have had one fte but that was it and that was with cheap monarch steel case laquer coated ammo. they are good enough for me to trust to carry. i'm a pretty big fan of the shield mags. so much so that i ordered a few of the z9 mags for my g43... i am getting more open to aftermarket stuff these days and i used to keep everything stock.

i won a shield arms s15 "combo mag pack" (3 mags and a steel mag catch) in an auction from a local pawn shop for a pretty fair price. when i went to pick it up they were second gen mags and i was a little deflated. however after running several hundred rounds through my G43x i've been very happy with them and i am now carrying that instead of my springfield hellcat (which was my carry gun the last couple of years)

you ever get down towards knoxville? i'll be up that way but it will be about three weeks on my way to banner elk.
