1. Because I like to be reminded of just how bad television in the 70's SUCKED.
2. Some of the posts made contained remarks that didn't foster good fellowship among the users. When that happens, posts will disappear without warning and sometimes without explanation.
3. I saw this a little earlier and it made me laugh. I know... the anti-gunners meant it for bad, but I'm capable of laughing at myself. Click for larger version:
4. Freaking sweet. I guess I still have game after all.
5. Bumping this thread. Made a few changes, hoping that the problem may be in the process of being resolved. Anyone seeing email notices suddenly?
6. This makes me miss my AR15 all kinds of bad.
7. The bike looks awesome! I wish I had the depth-perception to ride a bike, but as is I'd just be setting myself up to become a tailgate seeking land-missile.
8. Scenerio... A member posts a lot of very useful information that is of benefit to many people. The thread grows as others contribute valuable information. Over time, it becomes a well liked resource on the forum and many people have contributed into it. Later, someone pisses off the original starter of that thread and they decide to give the community the finger, pack up their toys and go home. When they do, they delete that thread because they started it and the software saw that they had appropriate permissions to do so. Everyone loses as a result. Still think it's a good idea? I don't. We have moderators for a reason, and that's so that not everyone has keys to the kingdom that they can manipulate at will. This is the way it will stay.
9. Sounds like I need to make someone a smoking deal on my little Bersa.
10. I have one. It was my first handgun, given to me by my dad. I have never carried it and likely never will. Cons Heavy Largish for the caliber Pros Perfect for throwing into the river if I ever had to Wouldn't miss it if it were confiscated as evidence That's about it. If you want to carry a .380 there are better guns for the task. P3AT, LCP, etc. If you want to carry something as heavy as the Bersa .380, get a polymer 9mm and have more capacity and a better defensive round at your disposal.
11. That message was being shown in error. The problem has been corrected. Welcome to TGO.
12. Fixed. Apparently only Benefactors could do that. I never intended to have that option set, so I just changed it.
13. Hornady TAP 147gr 9mm in my Glock 19 right now. Still carrying Gold Dots in everything else. Hero Gear just didn't have any for the 9mm last weekend.
14. I need to change that. Regular members shouldn't even be able to delete their own posts.
15. Proof of this happening?
16. Several people reported that they were getting a security token error when trying to post or edit blog entries. I've applied an update that might fix that problem. Can you please try again and reply here if it's working or not? My test showed that it is working. I just want to make sure this isn't a permissions related problem. Thanks.
17. Update... Ordered the "Pink Lady" color Duracoat from Lauer Custom Weaponry today. Order includes the pink Duracoat, white Duracoat base, reducer and flex agent. Once these arrive, I will remove the grips from the gun and paint them with an airbrush. Hopefully it will hold up fairly well.
18. I can't believe I just watched the entire old Captain America clip.
19. Really can't imagine Guns & Leather providing substandard service in any area. I've always been impressed with them every time I've visited. In fact, that was going to be my suggestion for him if he was looking for a nice indoor range to shoot at in close proximity to downtown Nashville.
20. Sounds like Gun City. If so, that's not the first time I have heard of them providing shoddy service in any area. I'd find another range to shoot at if that were the case.
21. We can officially close this thread. Apparently he owns a Glock, as evidenced by these serial # pics posted just this morning on Glocktalk.
22. That's a double edged sword you keep swinging around, you know. Sooner or later you will goof up and someone will use "any legal way [they] can ruin your reputation" and stick it really far up a place you don't wash well. When that happens, you're going to understand why sometimes it's nice when people choose to show a little lenience. In the meantime, suppose this instructor just screwed up on their paperwork or something. Let's not lynch them just yet. More details would be nice.
23. This one made me laugh out loud.
