    Went got an XD.

Well the XD is already gone. Back to the one I got it from. Here is the story. After picking up the XD and the P9C he shows up and says he has one more he is going to let go. Then tells me it is the Beretta Model 96 40 cal. He then tells me if I would rather have it then the XD he would just swap out with me. So me already having a weakness for Beretta's I had to take it. It also came with fobes holster and 2 clips. So fun to come as soon as I can go put some rounds through them. Verne

Thought they referred to it as a sub-compact. You learn something everyday. Thanks.

    Went got an XD.

Almost typed that but was being lazy. Should have guessed I would catch hell for it. I was pressing on it and was sure that was how it came out. Was right buy never thought to use some thing on it. To use to the Browning Hi-Power. Verne

    Went got an XD.

Found that is was a cz75 clone but never thought to search under it. Found it and got it figured out. Was going about it right just not pushing on the pin hard enough. Manual said use the base of the clip. Thanks, Verne

    Went got an XD.

Went yesterday and a buddy of mine hooked me up on a great deal for an XD45 Subcompact. And also this beauty that I love. A SpringField P9C 40cal. I have in them around what the XD is new. So my questions is does anyone know how to break down a P9C? I have searched the net with no luck. I know you have to line up the two marks on the back of the slide and frame but after that I am having no luck breaking it down. Thanks, Verne
  7. Thanks for all the info guys. I ended up getting a Sentry 14 gun Fire resistant from Academy Sports. Everything fit in, it is tight with some but I like it. Verne
  8. Thanks for the info guys. I will probably go look at some and see what I can get that will work best. Just need to get them out of my friends safe. Thanks, Verne
  9. I got to thinking. Instead of getting a XD40 with my income tax I should get a gun safe. So here is my question. Where is a good local place to look at and maybe get a nice fire resistant gun safe. It will need to hold hand guns and rifles. Around 10 or 12 rifles and several hand guns including some box sets. Only catch is weight. I leave in an apartment and know the floor will not support a heavy safe so that cuts in to alot of the fire resistant stuff. If anybody is wanting to sale a used one I would be interested. Thank you, Verne
  10. I know the skeet range quite well. When I was around eight years old I was the reasoning behind repainting one of the freshly painted skeet houses. Good memories. Thanks for the info. Verne
  11. As I work in Gallatin and use to shoot at the range out by the Steam Plant with my dad years ago. I was wondering if the Gallatin Gun Club is that place or is it the indoor range Ashbranners (sp)? Thanks, Verne
