  1. It was kind of small and disappointing. There's a show in Smyrna next weekend that is 3 times larger. $10 to get in. You can print off a $1-off coupon on the show sponsors website.
  2. Streisand cd, Fonda DVD, Sarandon DVD, etc.
  3. Yeah, and no samples, free or otherwise. Used to go on the Anheuser Busch tour in Williamsburg a lot back in the 80's. Unfortunately they shut it down a few years ago.
  4. It's just sad that we even have to have topics like this because of a small group of whacko liberals who would rather have this country sissy-fied and defenseless than to concede that we have rights that supercede their fear of an inanimate object (a gun).
  5. They all think that they are above: 1. The law 2. Ethics 3. Morals 4. Voters/Citizens They serve lobbyists, not the people who sent them there in the first place. You can count the few good ones on two hands. I say it's time to clean house of the entire lot of them and get some regular Joes and Sarahs in there.
  6. That's one of the main benefits of dry firing. Dry firing often will help you improve immensely more so than simply firing thousands of rounds every week.
  7. yep That's what I've been saying! I actually had a job a few years ago where I did record everything everyone said to me throughout the day. When I called them on their subsequent denials, those recordings came in very handy. The satisfaction of justice is a sweet taste.
  8. What is a "hollow point"? I am only familiar with a controlled expansion projectile. "exploding bullets" ? "liquified organs" ? "lung shredding bullets" ? LOL
  9. Give Murtha a medal? I didn't know that the Navy issued medals to traitors. Keelhauling seems more appropriate.
  10. Just did some more digging and found this site which pretty well sums up everything I found out on my own yesterday, and then some. http://www.resistnet.com/profiles/blogs/beware-bornagainamericanorg-is They have disguised what amounts to Obama worship as an inspirational and patriotic message.
  11. Wow. It did me too at first. But then I did some investigating. Try it.
  12. Looked at that yesterday. At first glance, on the surface, it looked really patriotic. They try to say all of the right sounding things, but a few things gave it away though and got me to dig a bit further. After checking the About Us page and some of their links, they are associated with this website among others. http://site.pfaw.org/ After being on that site for about 30 seconds, there was no doubt that it was a liberal, left-wing website that just bashes conservatives/republicans and Rush Limbaugh. Seems to be a very subtle liberal website and the purpose seems to be to gently draw people in based on patriotism and then later perhaps have people sign their names to carefully worded petitions and action plans which will no doubt have a liberal agenda. Check it out and tell me if I am just seeing it wrong, but I don't think so.
  13. Yes it is! I'm tired of that sack of misrepresenting me in D.C.
  14. I don't disagree with you, but it's merely technicalities and semantics, so no point beating each other up seeing as we are on the same side.
  15. People inherently carry the religion with them as a part of their being/character/make up/personailty (or however you want to define that). When people go to the grocery store, the gas station, or to their government job (whether they be a US Postal worker, Senator, Congressman, Supreme Court Justice, etc.), their religion goes along with them. It is part of the person and goes wherever they go. Yes, atheism is also a religion, as well agnosticism, and many other common forms of established religions. Do not fall into the trap of defining "religion" as something that is necessarily related to God. The true definition of "religion" is - A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion. God Himself is not too keen on 'religion' as most people would define it. Religion is something that man has made up in his search for either a reason for existing or in worship of something/someone higher than himself. Worship of God in a pure sense is not "religion" until man perverts it by introducing all kinds of processes, customs and rote ritual. Then there is the problem in your argument and previous statements based on this assumption of some sort of doctrine of so-called "separation of church and state". This false doctrine was brought about by anti-God type people, mostly in the past century, who mistakenly (intentionally is more accurate) misuse a few sentences from a letter by Thomas Jefferson and take them out of context. Jefferson was actually saying that the state should have no control over religion, nor establish a state sponsored religion ('denomination' for our discussion here), thus by default prohibiting other "religions" ('denominations'), and in effect suppressing the people's right to freedom of religion. For simpletons, this means that the state (gubment) can not tell people what to do concerning religion, but at the same time the state is made up of people who are themselves of religion. For those of you who have not been indoctrinated by public schooling in the past 30+ years, you will know the answer to this. For those of you who have not been fortunate enough to escape the indoctrination process, the answer will be given after the question - Q. Why did the pilgrims come to America? A. To escape religious persecution. That, and a deep faith in God, is why most of the documents written by our founding fathers have many references to God, the Divine Creator, and the rights that are given to mankind as inherent and eternal rights that go along with man's existence, just like air and water. These basic rights are not, nor can be, given to men by other men, they come straight from God. The founding fathers made mention of God and these natural rights in these documents to keep other men (kings, presidents, senators, etc.) from trying to prohibit you from enjoying these basic rights. These rights can not be taken away by men, because they were not given by men.
  16. Yes! I wouldn't mind working there as well.
  17. The "government" hasn't lost touch with America because the "government" is the people. The people have forgotten who really runs things. We are the employers, the politicians are our employees. It is the politicians who have lost touch with America. Start issuing warnings of bad job performance to your employees. I call and write my Congressman and two U.S. Senators every day, sometimes several times a day. It is my duty to be up their butts and remind them who they answer to. In 2010 we will be issuing pink slips to a lot of our employees. I constantly remind my three employees that that is what will happen to them if they do not perform well. I suggest all of you do the same.
  18. I had a kid working for me years ago in the fast food biz. He was a senior at Overton H.S. He was a very articulate black kid, so I assumed very educated as well. One night it was late and we were closing and I wanted to get moving and get home. I was almost done with my work and he was dragging his feet chatting it up with another employee. I yelled out from the office to get to work and let's get outa here. He yells back that he's going to call the NCAA on me. Knowing what he meant, I yelled back and said, "that's the NAACP moron!" Education. Yeah, right! More like indoctrination and stupification.
