What if I were to tell you that the president, the courts, and the federal government have ignored the US Constitution and have seized powers which the founders of our country fought to restrict. My only suggestion....go to a Gun shop and compare the "feel" (grip, action, etc.) of the "low-end" 1911's (Taurus, etc.).....your old Taurus will feel like a Kimber compared to the RIA. Just my .

I took mine straight from the gun shop and ran 100 rounds through it...when I got home I cleaned it EXTENSIVELY....and it needed it...it was NASTY. I used EEZOX and cleaned every little crevice i could get to with a q-tip and a "toothpick" device, after this first cleaning, I lubed it with Berry's gun lube and it has been flawless since (knock on wood). It is my EDC and I trust it completely. Mine is damned accurate too.

Low and ready sounds good in theory....but...how do you "hold" someone for the police to arrive at low and ready? The "robber" would laugh and walk(run) away. The "robber", @ my house, would KNOW to be still and not move....period. Although, I will state that I would not shoot the "robber" unless i felt in fear of my life. With that being said....would the "robber" have a few knots on his head when the police arrive?
