    Good Day!

i have a star Model 30m...9mm...it is the most accurate gun in my arsenal...and like you said the trigger is amazing!!! And again...like you said...smooth as silk........... I wish all my guns shot as good as this one.... Today at the range.......7 yards shooting golf balls....SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!
  4. well...today i decided to draw from my holster and fire a few rounds. It was scary at first, but, i found that after about 5 rounds it was FUN as hell!!!!!!!!!! I carry a Taurus Mil-pro .45, I had it in a OWB holster. I drew, dropped the safety and fired....one round at a time. I actually surprised myself at how quick i was able to drop the safety, acquire the target and fire. this is the first time I have ever tried this. I fired a total of 20 rounds at about 30 feet. 18 out of 20 hit the paper(large pistol target, but imagined a torso target) 5 of the 18 were in the black...all 18 would have hit the torso......I am proud of myself(tooting my own horn here), as I have had no training on this method ever. Any hints or techniques would be greatly appreciated. thanks,
  5. I am at a loss for words here.... If your opinions are as you have expressed....why in the world would you even THINK about hunting??????????
  6. thanks man...i'm trying not to...but....i , we(mark@sea and me) finally find a gun that the wife can actually carry ON her and this happens. I guess I am, well, sort of "pressing", thinking that she NEEDS this weapon on her at all times. I guess I'm just thinking about the "what if's"....what if something happens and this damn gun is @ Sig getting "fixed".... I dunno...maybe I'm just paranoid....
  7. Thanks Collin...i have checked the recall issue ....mine is good on that issue...just pissed about this feeding issue.... Of course this is JUST my luck...first sig...i have problems.... If IT can happen....IT WILL happen to me....
  8. I just don't get some people....let's ALL just leave our doors open and let all God's creatures come and go as they please....
  9. So, don't call them myself?...would a dealer calling get better results?
  10. thanks Tom....but...I really really have a couple of issues with that. its a brand bew gun, should it not feed ball ammo period? and, i dont want to spend 100's of dollars "testing" this thing, that is IF i can find powerball or lawman..... I guess I'm just a wee teensy little bit PISSED about this....
  11. thanks Garufa...the only two brands of FMJ i have are Magtech and Remington...both are showing the same issues. So, hollow points are no better than ball ammo in the .380?
  12. hey guys....I am already at a decision, but, i thought i might get everyones opinion. I bought the wife a new P238 a couple of weeks ago. When we got it home...I loaded it up with ball ammo and tried "hand" cycling it. It was very very "rough". If I OVER exaggerated the "snap back" it would cycle. "Normal" hand cycling...it jammed every time. Tried gold-dot hollow points. Same thing...jam after jam. Bought a new mag....same thing...ball and HP would not cycle by hand. So, loaded up both mags and let them sit full for about 10 days. Went to the range today.....Same crap!....hollow points jam on every round. Ball ammo jams about every other round. Not really a jam, just wont stick one in the chamber...grrrrr. The rounds are "nosing" into the ramp. I am not happy about this, because this gun is to be my wifes EDC. She is not happy either. I have made up my mind to send it back to Sig and see what they have to say. Any opinions altering from mine? Thanks...
  13. Don't do it!!! Don't do it!!! Don't do it!!.....It's a disease that you will NEVER come back from....1911 disease will cost you lots of money...it may even cost you girlfriends or wives.....
