Ok guys...let me set the stage....I received an email form my mother-in-law about healthcare reform. The email is as follows:
On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment, courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn which would require all Members of Congress and their staff members to enroll in any new government-run health plan.
Congressman John Fleming has proposed an amendment that would require Congressmen and Senators to take the same health care plan that they would force on us. (Under proposed legislation they are exempt.)
Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go to his Website and sign his petition. The process is very simple. I have done just that at:

Senator Coburn and Congressman Fleming are both physicians.
Regardless of your political beliefs, it surely seems reasonable that Congress should have exactly the same medical coverage that they impose on the rest of us. When this makes it through and becomes law then, just maybe then some whom we elect will follow through and propose a bill that will put congress and all government officials on the same Social Security System under which we live.
Please urge as many people as you can to circulate this message and sign the petition!

Please don't circulate this crap....this healthcare reform is an attempt at
socialism....the REFORM needs to be STOPPED before the decision is made to make
our lawmakers decide whether or not to be included. HEALTHCARE REFORM should be
STOPPED immediately.
How would you feel if "JOHN Q. PUBLIC" has the SAME healthcare that you have?
You have worked your ass off all your life to have great health insurance. John
Q. has sat on his ass taking welfare and whatever other handouts, with this
reform, John Q. sits beside you in the waiting room, receiveing the SAME
healthcare you receive for doing NOTHING. Do you really think that healthcare
will be the same????.........NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Mr.(if you can call him that) Obama needs to wake up and realize that government
IMPOSED programs FAIL, they always have they always will.....Post
Office=fail......Medicare=fail.....medicaid=fail....Social security=will FAIL.
To even think that we, as a nation, are even CONSIDERING this **** has really
pissed me off.
I am sorry for venting on you about this, but, I am fed up with this
administration FORCE FEEDING us with this bull****.
I guess it shows what kind of nation we have turned into....a bunch of weak,
narrow-minded individuals that just "go with the flow".
Call ****(her daughter) and ask her about the Healthcare reform....ask her about her
opinion....someone who is in the "trenches" and sees the real story.
The U.S. government cant even run the damn POST OFFICE, are we going to trust
them with our healthcare???????????
