  1. but if you sell it now, don't you have to sell it as an NFA item? Therefore the new buyer will have to pay $200 and wait for approval?
  2. I did see those a while back. If I remember correctly back then they only had about 2 models for pistols and they used some non-standard footprint at that time. But it seems that now they have more models and they are using fairly standard footprints. That is good news. If they take that ACSS to the SCS line I will trade up.
  3. I do agree with that as well. I had a Holosun GoldDot before on a shotgun and I really liked it. I wish that instead of dots and circles some company would come out with a chevron sight for these "red dot" type sights. I have some prism scopes that have a chevron and I like it much better than circles or dots. But prism sights have a set eye relief which will not work for pistol sights. The Chevron gives you a precise point of aim if you have the time but also gives you a fairly large triangle if you need to get on target as fast as possible. I can't imagine why no company that I have seen has gone to chevrons.
  4. I am trying the pistol optic thing again. This one is the new HoloSun SCS (solar charging site). It does not have a replaceable battery so it can be a bit smaller. This model is customized to the frame of the gun so it sits lower. From my first trip to the range, this one is MUCH easier for me to find the dot faster. I do not spend any time "searching for the dot" so far.
  5. Just got the new Holosun SCS for the S&W M&P 2.0 Frame. It works well. It is smaller and sits lower than most others I have tried. Sitting lower helps me find the reticle much faster and easier (I guess it is closer to the sights). It is solar charged and does not have a replaceable or removable battery.
  6. I bought these new in September 2022 and mounted them on a rifle and took them to the range 1 time. I have since sold the rifle and no longer need the sights. They are in excellent (as new) condition with the original boxes as well. The rear sight is the more expensive model with the Left and Right (windage) adjustment as well as the standard range (height) adjustment. I can ship these if buyer pays actual cost of shipping. Also, can meet for a FTF transaction in Murfreesboro. $125 now only $100 for the pair. I am not interested in separating them.
  7. Wish you were closer to middle tn
  8. I cannot say for sure but it is fairly powerful ammo as what it lacks in weight it makes up for in speed. The projectile is copper mixed with polymer as I understand so that will turn to powder and not ricochet when it hits a steel target, but it will still behave like a normal bullet when it hits targets that aren't steel.
  9. BTT - Who got a 45 for Christmas and needs some ammo?
  10. Have some extra ammo for sale. This is "steel target safe" ammo that will not ricochet. Have 225 rounds for $100. Prefer FTF Transaction in or around Murfreesboro, TN.
  11. What I don't like is the cheap sights on a gun this nice. This is a really nice gun IMHO and it has their cheapest white dot sights. Even their Shield Plus guns (which I love) now have much better night sights at about 1/2 the price of this gun. If/when I get an optic for this gun, it will be the Holosun SCS that is made for this gun specifically so there won't be any mounting plates involved. Then these cheap white dot sights won't be an issue anymore either.
  12. I dug out the box and it's goodies. It comes with 4 different grip pieces. They are very easy to swap out without any tools other than the one that is built into the grip itself. It also includes 7 different optic mounting plates and a bunch of different screws for them.
  13. These come with either 4 or 5 different panels to fit any size hand. I can't remember exactly and do not have them with me at the moment, but there are more panels than usual.
  14. Thanks to all that have contacted me so far. The S&B ammo is gone but I found more of the Blue Guardian ammo on another shelf that I forgot about. So I have 16 more boxes of the Blue Guardian to trade or sell.
  15. S&B traded to Snaveba pending meet. Blue Guardian ammo is still available.
  16. I overstocked on defense ammo. I would like to sell this ammo for cash or trade for other ammo. I have 18 16 boxes of Fiocchi Blue Guardian. This ammo is 155 grains and moves at 1170 fps for a muzzle energy of 471 ft/lbs. Most 45 ACP ammo is 330-370 ft/lbs so this ammo delivers significantly more energy than average range ammo. As for trades, I am seeking 1:2 (defense : range) in 45 ACP OR 1:1 if you have good quality 7.62x51 or .308 to trade. For cash price for the Blue Guardian ammo, I am asking $20 per box but will also discount that if you buy multiple boxes. I will sell the Blue Guardian ammo at $11 per box if you buy all 16 boxes.
  17. The term SMG does historically mean full auto capable. Many companies recently have been using SMG to refer to Semi-Auto small pistol caliber guns. It is confusing. In this case LWRC decided to actually name the model of gun SMG.
  18. Not a dumb question at all. YES, it is semi-auto and not an NFA item. It is simply a pistol with a folding brace (not a stock). Although, many people do a Form 1 on these and add a stock and forward pistol grip and suppressor (additional form). If I end up keeping it, I will buy a suppressor for it.
  19. Took it out to the range this weekend and someone asked about accuracy. He had heard reports that these guns had occasional accuracy issues. This gun did have those issues when I got it. I sent it back to LWRC and they replaced a few things. See attached pic. I took it out to the range after getting it back from LWRC and tested it my self. I have shot over 500 rounds through it since I got it back in October. It is very accurate with not one single "flyer" that wasn't the shooters (my) fault. The target above is just one of many I have like it. This was 20 rounds from 64 feet away with no rest or bag or anything for additional support. This is shot with a cheap $50 red dot optic.
