I COMPLETELY agree with your thought process on the new carry stuff. Of course the advocates still recommend TO get a permit.  Maybe more of a self preservation suggestion than anything. 
That being said, having a permit DOES allow other to have comfort that your at least legally able to own a gun.  I can see both buyer and seller POV! Also I like the little pistol! People sleep on the 380 sometimes but it’s a nice little round and if that is the only thing you have then it is the very best chance! Good luck with sale and purchase!!

Brand new 22lr conversion kit for compact Gen 3 Glocks (19-23-32).  Bought for my 32 so my wife and I could plink. Next day wife came home with a new Glock 44. So I no longer need this.
