  1. It is a 16" barrel so I assume it was cut down as I don't think Marlin made these in 16" barrels. If you are a Marlin expert, please educate me! I bought it about 15 years ago off a gentleman who was selling a number of lever guns via a newspaper classified ad (I'm 37 but now that sounds kind of old school, right? Sort of miss it though). Stay warm everyone!
  2. Good morning! Finally got my sight hood and original front sight block off plate put on and wanted to post some pictures. Manufacture date is year ~2000, the barrel was shortened before I got it. I added the Williams peep sight from a .35 Remington Marlin I had at the time, as well as the Galco bullet holder. Might be my favorite rifle! This got me into reloading as you can save about as much as dies cost at around 20 rounds if I recall. I've loaded some 500-grain T-Rex killers and it is quite the kick!
  3. Good morning! For sale is a set of Laser Grips for the above mentioned 1911 Compact/Officer. Will not fit a full size. Screw center to center spacing measures 2 5/8", please bring your pistol to verify fit. Comes with factory manual/adjustment tool and some shims from the factory that are needed on some pistols. I prefer wood grips so I replaced them, then later sold the gun. Good battery and works great! Retails ~$350+, price for these is $150. Thanks for looking! William
  4. Good morning and happy weekend! For sale is a Springfield XDs 3.3 in 9mm. Pistol is in excellent shape and comes with two seven round magazines and one 9 round magazine as pictured. Also comes with the goofy factory holster and magazine carrier that Batman probably wouldn't even put on his accessory belt. But - also comes with a nice Galco IWB holster to make up for it! Also comes with factory case, documentation from when I bought it new. Finally, it has the factory test shell case - so if you're a reloader...there's one more piece of brass (probably wont even have to resize it, am I right?!). I have maybe ~100 rounds through it most. I bought it as a carry gun but never really carried it. I can meet in Collierville at the town square if you'd like to take a look at it. Only trade I would be interested in is a Smith & Wesson Model 10 blued 4" barrel in good shape with cash added from me as appropriate. I know that's specific! Priced at $280. Thanks for looking! William
  5. Good morning and happy holidays! I've had a box of stuff I never use sitting in the closet for ~10 years and just simply don't need it. Some of it is junk but some good stuff here (says a guy about his box of junk). As far as the holsters, from top left is: 2 1911 polymer holsters(don't know brand, screws rusting on one slightly, other one is like new), Wilson Combat leather 1911, Galco 1911 leather. Bottom row: El Cheapo Glock 19, and both a De Santis and CQC holster that will fit a J-Frame or SP101, etc. In the box is a laser target set (probably needs batteries but barely used), some rando revolver grips (SP101?), a picatinny 10/22 mount with scope ring (M-223XR, whatever that is), and the lesser of two M1 bayonets I have (1950s vintage, smells funny, just like some of us...kidding!!!!). In the spirit of the holidays, I could sell this piecemeal but frankly I'd rather go to Lost Pizza in Collierville and have a beer this afternoon instead of worrying about all that. So, free to a better home than I have been! Stipulations - must be able to meet at Lost Pizza in Collierville this afternoon around 1:30, where I will be having a beer as stated. First to reply in the comments that can do this - it's yours! (No DMs please, so everyone knows I'm not hooking up my highschool buddies.) All the best! William
  6. Ha! Thanks man - I appreciate you vaulting my post to the top. Hopefully with a combination of luck I’ll lock down a buyer! OK, I’ll stop with the puns…
  7. I messaged him - thank you so much for looking out! I am certainly willing to help. I have rented one of those dollies (long story but it involved moving an empty Jack Daniels barrel upstairs and placing it on a senior Officer's desk as we had stolen it from him the night before) and it was pretty handy.
  8. Good afternoon! For sale is a Browning ProSteel Sporter 24 gun safe, although it will fit much more if you collect Liberators or mouse guns! You don't need to worry about batteries running out when Red Dawn happens as the safe is manually locking with an S&G lock (I'll give you the combo for $50 extra ) and comes with the pistol stands depicted, as well as upgraded rubber shelves per the pictures. Also comes with the locking key and the original combo card if I can find it. Good condition overall, a few house paint marks from moving that will buff out if you decide to show it at a safe show. I'm in the military and moving it has become a total pain as I have to arrange for a special team to come every time I move. I believe it's a 500 pound safe, so it's not a "two guys and a truck" type scenario but I'll work with you to make whatever your moving arrangements are work. I don't remember what I paid (we all know safes sell below MSRP) but I think the price is fair at $400. Located in Collierville - can't meet halfway as I'm shredded obviously, but can't quite lift it into my car. Happy holidays! William
  9. Good afternoon! Thinning out the gun safe and my middle of the road carry pistol is on the chopping block (although I've only carried it a few times honestly). Probably about 100 rounds through it - gun is in pretty much perfect shape. Comes with the box and all the hokey accessories (not sure who uses that plastic Springfield double mag carrier...). Nice thin gun with a decent capacity (7/9 rounds for the respective magazines I think) and good for all weather carry. Price is fair and firm at $350. Can meet in Collierville on weekends at around 1:00. Please have ID and be legally allowed to own a gun.Thank you!
  10. I need to make it out there - it looks like a really cool town. I'm from the Southwest so it's all new for me!
  11. 4" still available, the other one is sold. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
  12. Bump for a price drop. Yours for $300. Hope everyone is well and happy Father's Day!
  13. Good afternoon! New to the area as I've just been stationed here somewhat recently. Been meaning to thin the collection out as it's getting to be a pain to move. Been great meeting and talking with everyone here, this is a great site! SA 1911 9MM for sale - fun gun to shoot on the cheap. Pretty great condition and a nice looking gun. Comes with Crimson Trace grips (retails for ~$200+ based on a quick Google search). I think I have at least a few mags as well. I'm almost positive I have the original grips also. Haven't shot it in years so it has to go even though I like the gun a lot. Always kept coated in Ballistol. Fun fact - my little brother and I were shooting out in the NM desert and he hit a plate with it at ~400 yards. Disclaimer: It took us an hour and about 200 of my reloads a piece (and the gun was at a 15 degree angle) but he did it! So it's, uh...pretty much a sniper rifle. I was shooting a normal 1911 and it was at a 25 degree angle! Please be willing to meet in Collierville and be legally allowed to own a firearm. Thank you for looking! Priced firm and fair below what they go for on Gunbroker without the grips (actual bids!). Price: $650
  14. Good morning! Selling a few guns as the collection needs to be a little more mobile as I move frequently. Just got stationed here so new to the site it's been good talking with everyone. This is a Smith & Wesson double action top break revolver - serial number puts it in the 1895 - 1909 time frame based on limited research (SN 490847). Chambered in .38 S&W (not .38 Special!), which is not super common of course but is easily available online and in well stocked gun stores. I fired a box through it and ejecting all the shells is almost as much fun as firing it! Other than that is has sat in the safe with plenty of Ballistol on it. Patina finish with some very minor pitting on barrel. Bore is in line with the rest of the gun - shows rifling but not shiny. Cool piece of history for a Smith & Wesson collector or just a fun and unique shooter. Please be willing to meet in Collierville, have ID, and be legally allowed to own a firearm. Thank you for looking! Price: $240
  15. Thank you my friend! It's an honor and has been good to me. We like it in Collierville but Eastern TN is very, very beautiful.
  16. Thanks. Yeah if Tennessee were narrower we’d all have WAY more guns!
  17. Good morning! Thinning out the collection and this one is taking up a lot of space in the safe. This is a (presumably) WWII issued Ivhevsk made rifle. Receiver stamped 1944, scope stamped 1942 with arsenal refurbishment marks from 1965 which is consistent practice. Note domed scope screws, proper steel machined based with correct scope to base mount and condition of wood cutout for mount. Hard to see but Circle C stamp is on the right side of receiver. Glass is clear and clean, bore is shiny. Numbers match as far as I can tell. I've tried to get pictures of all the specific points I would look at if buying the gun but let me know if you need more info or pictures! The real Vassili Zaitsev deal if you've seen Enemy at the Gates! Please be willing to meet in Collierville, have ID, and be able to legally own a firearm. Thank you for looking! Price $1150
  18. Good morning everyone! This is a tough one for me but I am downsizing the collection. This is a 1952 Tula, all numbers matching as far as I can tell. Blueing is nearly perfect as is overall condition of the rifle - a few shellac chips is as bad as it gets! I shot it once and based on the cosmoline I found when cleaning it afterwards, that may have been the first/last time. I installed a firing pin kit at that time to prevent slam fires (Murray's Guns - original is included). I can't find an import mark but they can be really hard to find sometimes so it may very well have one. I'm not crazy about selling a rifle that is only going up in value but I think my Soviet collection may turn into just pistols! Comes with a manual ($7.95 value in 1990!). I also just realized that the cleaning kit is in the butt - first time I pulled it out as I didn't want to scratch the butt plate, so that's kind of neat. Not looking for trades as I am downsizing. Please be able to meet in Collierville, have ID, and be legally allowed to own a firearm. Thank you for looking! Price is $950
  19. Good morning! Winchester 37 made from 1937-1963. Not sure of date as these were not serialized to cut costs. This is a "Red Letter" gun as shown in the pictures. 16 ga., full choke, 2 3/4" inch shells. Barrel length is a compact 20" making this a great first shotgun. Bore is shiny, but most of blueing is worn off of receiver. Please be willing to meet in Collierville, have ID, and legally own a firearm. Thank you! Price is $180
  20. Thanks! Currently pending. Derf - if anything falls through it is yours my friend!
  21. Good morning! This is an export version of the Romanian MD-74, used by both military and police. Likely manufactured in the mid- to late-1990s as a "Cugir Caparti Mod.95". Chambered in .380, comes with two original magazines (based on electro-pencil markings at least). Construction is similar to a Walther PPK - not quite the fit and finish but it is typical of rugged and reliable Soviet firearms of the era. That said - it's in pretty much brand new condition. It's pretty hefty so shooting .380 is a breeze. Very reliable and fun to shoot. Price is firm and fair. Please be willing to meet in Collierville, have ID, and be legally allowed to own a firearm. Thank you for looking! Price is $240.
