I do agree with Defender and the moral code of the deal online being a "Gentleman's Agreement." I'm pretty sure we all adhere to that form of dealing with people here and in "real" life as my wife says. (Once accused me of living in a sort of virtual reality because of all the time I've spent here.)
I've been a prolific buyer. Far to much in fact. Tried to be direct in communications about pricing and meeting locations. I have, in fact, asked to be released from that buying obligation I think 2, maybe three times here. Explained the situation fully and offered to complete the buy if the seller wasn't satisified with my explanation and request. Never had an unhappy incident with anyone here because of it.
In almost 13(?) years here, I must say there have been 2 cases where the seller has made a deal with me and then refused to meet or complete the sale. One in particular was extremely bad. Details aren't necessary, but if you want the story, PM me and I'll tell you. Anyway the situation was resolved. I never got the item, and due to really bad things happening in the background, the seller was banned.
I will say I enjoyed that part. But my point is that there are cases that may happen with buyers and sellers that result in a non-sale after the initial aggrement is made. They are rare, but it does happen. But this should occur with an honest apology to the offended/hurt party and all be resolved like Gentlemen.
Most, probably 99%+ here can be called this. It's one of the reasons I've stayed here and bought so much.

Only in print ads. I'm afraid I might like it. After all the years of hearing and reading about them,, I've actually never even held one.

a lot of people are weird when it comes to beretta, you either love them or you hate them. reminds of Glock LOL
You, Sir, are implying heresy with such a comment! GLOCKS Forever! Or at least as long as I own one, then we go to Walther!

Me likey the Beretta. I’m a fan of all stainless. It’s very nice(in thick Italian accent)
You mean "Essa niieeceee." But I agree. Like the all stainless version too. Had one several years ago. Sold it for a bit of a profit from my purchase. But not a greedy one. LOL.
Actually, I try to like Berettas, but I just can't get pas the size and chunkiness of them. Yes they are awesom firearms, just not for me.

At 71 now, its "Generations" below me. Multiple gens, by all sorts of names. Our young are losing sight of about everything but selfpleasure and the "get it free...I'm owed it viewpoint. Lack of respect for tradition and education. The past is of no use to them, and many don't know even basic history anymore. Lack of work ethic...heck lack of ethics at all in so many of them now. So sad. I see the FB line "I miss the America I grew up in" a lot. And I do.

I'm not afraid, but I am cautious of anything that smacks of authoritarianism, anything that would deprive me of the natural inherent right of self-defense, and anything that prohibits free speech and free association.
History is replete with examples of boiled frogs.
"Why, we'll never have an income tax." 1912
"Why, we'll never have an unjustified war." Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan
"Why, we'll never have universities where free speech is crushed." 1994
"Why, we'll never have sexual identities taught in public schools to 1st graders." 2018
"Why, we'll never have massive socialism in America." 1932 onward
As I say, "It can't happen here until it does."
DAMN! I hate logic at times! May, and does, sound extremist. But not many have lost on betting on the idiocy and undeniable power...of whatever we want to call this current ruling body.
I really don't like thinking this way. But Greed has taken this country by storm in recent years! Whether it be for money or power, and there's precious little difference between the two anymore; the evil that is greed and love of accumulating money by any means is my take on the cause of all our problems.
Maybe I'm oversimplifiny. but my take on it all.

Kamala wasn’t taken too seriously on the national stage, yet she is a heartbeat away from POTUS. Scary.
Don't know which of them to be more afraid of. It's a damnable choice!

A state that's trying to destroy what little industry they have left, their tax payer base is leaving in droves and teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. Even voters in blue states think they're crazy. Newsom don't stand a chance.
We've heard things like that before buddy! I certainly he never gets out of Cali in any political position. He's just nutty enough to appeal to all the groups crc4 outlined. Look at our unofficial climate czar and protector of the people.................
JOHN KERRY! A fraud of the first order! Yet he wields his "celebrity status" like the big stick Teddy Roosevelt spoke of. Heaven help us if he gets more power!
Actually either one of these fit that statement!

Trying to figure a way to make this work! Approximately 180 miles each way. 80 -100 bucks for fuel(Lousy mileage on my Traverse!) Plus a probable overnight stay somewhere...75+ Call it a rough 200 cost to get the rifle. Hmmm.
Still this is a fair(more than fair I think) deal. See what I can do here.

Possible. Maybe. Never really checked into this one. Just shoot it and go on.

This was a good price. Blazer Aluminium case seems to sell around that mark plus tax and shipping. So a good price there. Have a couple cases stashed away myself. lol.
I missed getting online this morning or would have tried for it as well.

Welcome to the good country, Rick. I think you'll like it here. Walmart issues aside.
